The Breath of Spirit Breathes Through Me

I am a unique conduit for the good of the universe to flow into the world. As I listen and respond to my inner guidance, I bring to the world originality and opportunity. I have a unique healing presence which blesses those who know me. As I open my heart to being true to my own nature, I provide for others a personal and providential medicine.

We do not interact by mistake. I am placed where I am and with whom I am for many important reasons. As I become more fully myself, my individual personality brings specific gifts to those who surround me.

As I open myself to unfolding my own inner gifts, the gifts of my nature grace others in outward and material ways. My presence in this world is important. My attitudes and actions have importance. As I choose to be a healing and creative presence, I am a balm for a troubled world.

The grace of Spirit touches me and through me touches all I encounter.

Julia Cameron, "Blessings: Prayers and Declarations for a Heartful Life"

Today I share with you the beautifully inspiring video and words from Julia Cameron.  Let them transport you to a more harmonious place within yourself, feel the bliss and peace they inspire...a tranquil, heartfelt union with Spirit.

I gratefully accept the boost from you and embrace the loving kindness we all share in Oneness. Thank you for all you do as healers and friends and being a part of this energy share.

I've posted a couple of holiday songs that I've enjoyed over the years which have always held deep meaning for me. I hope you enjoy them as well, I'm sure any Celine Dion fan will. Another reminder that I've updated the links on the blog. Check them out, use them, share them with those in need. With the state of the economy, every gift we give ourselves and each other takes on greater meaning and value. Enjoy.

Remember to live the passionate life that you intend it to be.

Love and Blessings to you all,

Lydia

P.S. Just to let you know, with the exception of an occasional post over the next couple of weeks, I'll be taking a brief vacation from posting to the blog over the next Christmas and New Year's weekends. However, you are always welcome to post comments. Please feel free to do so and even volunteer to post a share message anytime.

How to Live Happily on 75 Percent Less

usnews
By Rick Newman , On Tuesday December 15, 2009, 2:37 pm EST

Nine months after getting laid off, Catherine Goerz once again became part of the rush-hour commute--in a way she'd never anticipated.

To pick up extra cash, Goerz took a temporary job handing out fliers touting the benefits of public transportation in the San Francisco subway system. Occasionally she'd bump into people she knew from her former job as a creative producer for a Bay Area communications company. "They're in their corporate clothes," she recalls, "and I'm in this silly T-shirt and hat. 'Cathy, is that you?' they'd ask. 'What are you doing here?' Ugh."

The Great Recession--which is technically over, economists insist--may be morphing into a broader epoch: the Great Humbling. Millions of Americans who felt prosperous just a few years ago are now coping with long-term unemployment, sharp cutbacks in living standards, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and a deep sense of failure. That could persist for years. "This is not like earlier recessions, where things fell, then they bounced back to where they used to be," says Dennis Jacobe, chief economist for the Gallup polling organization. "We haven't seen this before. It's the only time this has happened since the Great Depression."

ripple1 Pictures, Images and Photos

The time that my journey takes is long
and the way of it long.

I came out on the chariot of the first
gleam of light, and pursued my voyage
through the wilderness of worlds leaving
my track on many a star and planet.

It is the most distant course that comes
nearest to thyself, and that training is the
most intricate which leads to the utter
simplicity of a tune.

The traveler has to knock at every alien
door to come to his own, and one has to
wander through all the outer worlds to
reach the innermost shrine at the end.

My eyes strayed far and wide before I
shut them and said, "Here art thou!"

The question and the cry, "Oh, where?"
melt into tears of a thousand streams and
deluge the world with the flood of the
assurance, "I am!"

-Gitanjali by Tagore

Rabindranath Tagore was a recognized poet, philosopher and thinker. I love his poetry which calls for a re-connection with the divine in every moment we live on Earth.  Today I share the energy boost with you to wash away fears and anxiety, to rejuvenate and warm your heart.  To remain united with universal energy that flows within and through each of us.  Let us continue to celebrate the meaning of this season of giving and receiving to ourselves and to each other.  Today I joyfully and gratefully embrace the boost from you.

I've updated the links on the blog, beginning with some holiday gifts and seasonal essentials to give yourself and to friends and family.  With the state of the economy, every gift we give ourselves and each other takes on greater meaning and value. Enjoy.

Thank you for all you do as healers and friends. Live the passionate life that you intend it to be.

Aloha pumehana (with blessings, love and affection)!

I love this collaboration of taiko drumming, wushu and tai chi performance, especially to see young talent moving with speed, agility, and grace. All movement is dance, the drums beating rhythmically in concert and syncopation with the forms, uniting contemporary and traditional styles.

Each year DANCE This brings together more than 200 young artists (ages 13-22) from diverse communities and backgrounds for intensive dance training, collaboration and performances that share diverse cultures through the art of dance.

DANCE THIS 2009 FINALE

I love watching young artists in training! I came upon this performance finale which brought together groups of diverse ethnic backgrounds and performance styles. Nice the way the show ended with a dance tribute to Michael Jackson.

Produced for the Seattle Theatre Group, DANCE This is a young artist training and performance program in cross cultural and contemporary dance. Each year DANCE This brings together more than 200 young artists (ages 13-22) from diverse communities and backgrounds for intensive dance training, collaboration and performances that share diverse cultures through the art of dance.

Energy Share for Sunday
December 6, 2009

Today I share with you peace and love with the energy boost embedded in the video.  It's a perfect message of how the energy we give and receive in the share is amplified...."it's one thing to give energy, but if we give it to someone who is also giving back, then we build energy among ourselves..."

With a loving and open heart, let the energy help you recharge, rejuvenate, and reconnect. In times of conflict and drama, especially with our loved ones, let it help you to find compassion, forgiveness, and detachment from anger, frustration, and hate.  Let us remember to sing the song of peace in our hearts.  I joyfully and gratefully embrace the boost from you.

And...let us welcome a new friend to the share, Annette Maxwell, who's been a friend and fellow healer for some time...especially on Facebook!  Thanks for the gifts, Annette.

Even a small thing like an online game can help change our thoughts to believe in giving and accepting a gift.  According to the latest neuroscience research, the brain can literally physically change from the creation of new neural pathways as a result of consistently learning positive plasticity.  We can give and receive easily and naturally all the gifts and blessings abundant throughout the universe.  And with the share, that we deserve and accept the equal exchange of energy.

Thank you for all you do as healers and friends.  Enjoy the passionate life that you intend it to be.

Aloha pumehana (with blessings, love and affection)!

This is awesome seeing the change in Gregg and his ability to dance! Someone who has such difficulty walking can seem to dance with such ease and expression.  Watch the video on the webpage. It's a definite must-see!

Learning His Body, Learning to Dance

By NEIL GENZLINGER
Published: November 24, 2009

Gregg Mozgala, a 31-year-old actor with cerebral palsy, had 12 years of physical therapy while he was growing up. But in the last eight months, a determined choreographer with an unconventional résumé has done what all those therapists could not: She has dramatically changed the way Mr. Mozgala walks.

In the process, she has changed his view of himself and of his possibilities.

Awakening of the Cosmic Heart

A beautiful, uplifting message in this video.   Enjoy...
