Energy Share for Sunday
November 28, 2010

The world is a forest of verdant possibility.
No one person controls my happiness.
No one person is the source of my joy.
I am rooted in universal flow.

My needs for love and affection are met by many sources.
I am blessed by the ability to receive love through many channels.
I open my heart to the love that is offered to me by multiple sources.
My heart is a mountain meadow fed by many streams.

Today, I practice receptivity to loving forces.
At any moment, a divinely inspired intersection may occur.
I accept the good which flows to me from many sides.

by Julia Cameron

Today I send to you a boost - to lift you up and be open to possibility, remembering all that inspires you to breathe, to move, to live every day.  Like walking on clouds, let yourself be light, free of worry, drama and restriction. Let yourself be at peace, resonating with the harmony that exists within yourself, with everyone, and everything.  And let this knowing be a gift that puts a smile on your face every day.

When you are ready, send out a boost of energy to the group in whatever shape or form you choose.  I joyfully embrace the boost from you with open arms, letting it carry me aloft into the sky.

With heartfelt gratitude, I thank you for being a part of this energy share.  It's another awesome thing on my gratitude list and reason to celebrate this Thanksgiving weekend.  Let us celebrate every moment and live our lives with passion.

THANKSGIVING DAY CELEBRATION

What am I most thankful for? It's the everyday things, of course...family, friends, good health, good weather, the beauty of nature, Nate Berkus, tea and chocolate!!!  Enjoy the day, this lovely video, and my music choice of Susan Boyle...

What we're really talking about
is a wonderful day set aside
on the fourth Thursday of November
when no one diets.
I mean, why else would they call it Thanksgiving?
~Erma Bombeck, "No One Diets on Thanksgiving,"
26 November 1981

As we express our gratitude,
we must never forget that the highest appreciation
is not to utter words,
but to live by them.
~John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Remember God's bounty in the year.
String the pearls of His favor.
Hide the dark parts, except so far as they are breaking out in light!
Give this one day to thanks, to joy, to gratitude!
~Henry Ward Beecher

Thanksgiving Day comes,
by statute, once a year;
to the honest man it comes
as frequently as the heart of gratitude will allow.

~Edward Sandford Martin

Our rural ancestors, with little blest,
Patient of labour when the end was rest,
Indulged the day that housed their annual grain,
With feasts, and off'rings, and a thankful strain.

Seven herbs for indigestion

By Melissa Breyer
by Yahoo!Green, on Fri Nov 19, 2010 2:00pm PST

Common causes for indigestion include overeating, eating too quickly, fatty or greasy foods, too much caffeine, too much alcohol, too much chocolate, nervousness, and emotional trauma. Translation: The holidays.

Indigestion, also known as dyspepsia, is a term used to describe one or more symptoms including a feeling of fullness during a meal, uncomfortable fullness after a meal, and burning or pain in the upper abdomen; it may cause bloating, belching, and nausea. One thing is certain, it's no fun!

If that last wafer-thin mint has you cowering on the couch, you may want to try one of these natural aids for indigestion. Herbs have been used for millennia to treat any matter of ailments, and indigestion seems to be one woe that is well-suited for natural remedies.

Fennel / Fennel Seed
There is a reason Indian restaurants serve the fennel seed mix, Mukhwas, after dinner. Fennel seed has long been used to help fight gas, cramps, and acid indigestion, and to help ease spasms in the intestinal tract.

Fennel has a long history of use in both food and medicine. Traditionally, it is said to act as a carminative, which means that it helps the body expel gas and sooth indigestion. Fennel is also a common ingredient in "gripe water," a traditional (and very alcoholic, by the way) preparation used for treating infant colic.

Fennel leaves can be used to make tea. NYU Langone Medical Center says that a typical dose of fennel is 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons of seeds per day.

Lemon Balm
Lemon balm is a member of the mint family and has been a favorite since the Middle Ages for reducing stress and anxiety, abetting sleep, sparking appetite, and easing indigestion.

These days, lemon balm is commonly mixed with other calming herbs to help promote relaxation. Evidence suggests that lemon balm, in combination with other herbs, may help treat indigestion -- although just soothing the stress alone can sometimes help with dyspepsia.

To reduce indigestion, flatulence, or bloating, the University of Maryland Medical Center recommends:

Capsules: Take 300 - 500 mg dried lemon balm, 3 times daily or as needed.
Tea: 1.5 - 4.5 grams (1/4 - 1 teaspoonful) of dried lemon balm herb in hot water. Steep and drink up to 4 times daily.
Tincture: 2 - 3 mL (40 - 90 drops), 3 times daily

Turmeric
Turmeric is the little minx of the spice drawer -- super bright, spicy, and boasting a broad array of health claims. You may know it as the main spice in curry and the one which imparts that intense golden glow, but turmeric is also used for health remedies.

In traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic medicine, turmeric has been used to aid digestion and liver function, relieve arthritis pain, and regulate menstruation. It has also traditionally been used for heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, intestinal gas, and stomach bloating.

According to the NYU Langone Medical Center, turmeric's superpower comes in the form of the substance, curcumin, that, among other properties, may stimulate gallbladder contractions. One double-blind, placebo-controlled study showed that 87% percent of the curcumin group experienced full or partial symptom relief from dyspepsia as compared to 53% of the placebo group.

The National Institutes of Health recommends a dosage of 500 mg of turmeric four times daily for dyspepsia.

Ginger
Ginger has long been used as a medicine in Asian, Indian, and Arabic herbal traditions. In China, ginger has been used to aid all types of digestion disorders for more than 2,000 years. Fast-forward to modern medicine, and health care professionals still commonly recommend ginger to help prevent or treat nausea and vomiting. It is also used as a digestive aid for mild stomach upset.

Germany's Commission E has approved ginger as a treatment for indigestion and motion sickness. Curiously, while most anti-nausea drugs work on the brain and the inner ear, ginger seems to act directly on the stomach.

For most purposes, the standard dosage of powdered ginger is 1 to 4 g daily, divided into 2 to 4 doses per day. (To prevent motion sickness, you should aim to begin treatment 1 or 2 days before the trip and continue it throughout the period of travel.)

Artichoke Leaf
If you have ever wondered what in the world were those Italians thinking when they invented the artichoke aperitif liqueur, Cynar, here's you answer. In traditional European medicine, the leaves of the artichoke plant (not the leaves of the bud, which is the part that we eat) were used as a diuretic to stimulate the kidneys and as well as the flow of bile from the liver and gallbladder; which plays a starring role in digestion.

Over the past century, much research has been done looking into the traditional medicinal uses of the artichoke plant; conclusions suggest that the plant does indeed stimulate the kidney and gallbladder. In the mid-20th century, Italian scientists isolated a compound from artichoke leaf called cynarin, which appeared to duplicate many of the effects of whole artichoke. Salute!

In 2003, a large study evaluated artichoke leaf as a treatment for dyspepsia; artichoke leaf extract proved significantly more effective than placebo for alleviating symptoms of functional dyspepsia. Germany's Commission E has authorized the use of artichoke leaf use for "dyspeptic problems" -- they recommend 6 grams of the dried herb or its equivalent per day, usually divided into 3 doses. Artichoke leaf extracts should be taken according to label instructions.

Peppermint
Peppermint is often used to soothe an upset stomach or to aid in digestion. Because of its subtle numbing effect, it has been used to treat everything from headaches, skin irritations, and anxiety to nausea, diarrhea, menstrual cramps, and flatulence.

Peppermint oil seems to be helpful for a variety of conditions that involve spasm of the intestinal tract. Most studies have involved irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), for which peppermint oil has shown considerable promise.

Peppermint relaxes the muscles that struggle with digestive gas and improve the flow of bile, which the body uses to digest fats. In studies on using peppermint to treat IBS, there seems to be a trend indicating mild effectiveness in the reduction of some symptoms, especially flatulence and abdominal pain and distension. However, if your symptoms of indigestion are related to a condition called gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD, peppermint should not be used.

Cayenne
OK, this one is confusing: Doesn't spicy food cause stomach aches? According to the folks at NYU, evidence suggests that oral use of cayenne can reduce the pain of dyspepsia! Counter-intuitive, at best, but apparently hot peppers don't actually inflame the tissues they contact; in fact, hot peppers aren't even harmful for ulcers. Rather, they merely produce sensations similar to those caused by actual damage.

Oral use of capsaicin seems to reduce discomfort in the stomach. In a double-blind study, individuals with dyspepsia were given either 2.5 g daily of red pepper powder (divided up and taken prior to meals) or placebo for 5 weeks. By the third week of treatment, individuals taking red pepper were experiencing significant improvements in pain, bloating, and nausea as compared to placebo, and these relative improvements lasted through the end of the study.

For treatment of dyspepsia, cayenne may be taken at a dosage of 0.5 to 1.0 g three times daily (prior to meals).

For these and all herbs, do not exceed dosage recommendations, and be sure to consult with your doctor if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking any medication.

The connection with our past and with the ones that came before us is supposed to help us find the wisdom and strength to pave our future enlightened path, not to be an obstacle to our liberation from the wheel of Samsara. Each and every soul created by the Divine Mind has a value and serves a purpose inside of the Divine plan. Every human soul that received the Blessing of the Living Breath is deemed a jewel or star in the crown of the Most High. Nothing is every wasted or lost in the Cosmic plan.

Whether you accept it or not, we are the biological collective result of thousands of people that lived, learned, taught, created, and dreamed. They collectively created our physical reality through their errors, successes and learning processes. It is an imminent fact that the actions of our past generations inevitably influence and impact the present one.

As a consequence of this timeless connection, the cells of our bodies contain the echoes of our ancestral family memories and they are significant factors that determine the way we perceive and deal with our reality.

Realigning our ancestral process is a necessary reorganization that will allow the release of energetic blockages in one’s life and in the life of one’s children and descendants. It is an intense and deep process of multidimensional forgiveness that encompasses a realm beyond time, space, dimensions and frequencies. It is an act of reverence, honor and acceptance, which will release the old paradigm, heal ancient wounds and clear the phantom pains imprinted in our memory cells and in our pain bodies.

Awakening Your Serpent Spine:
Dance as a Meditation for Your Chakras

By Adelaide Marcus

As a student of life and a teacher of dance, Adelaide Marcus has made the connection between belly dance and inner discovery. Becoming in touch with the body enlivens sensitivity, cultivates strength, and creates a sense of home. For Adelaide, insight through psychology, yoga, world medicine, and Qi Gong has brought forth a firm link between these spiritual practices and the body’s natural intuition cultivated through movement. The expression of dance can be extremely powerful and healing. Adelaide teaches how each chakra can be stimulated, opening up the potential in every human to move through difficulties and re-create themselves.

Belly Dancing with the Chakras

Root Chakra

Grounding into mother earth, as belly dance teaches, allows us to use her as a base to maintain control, balance, and stability, while protecting the body from injury. Planting our feet into the floor can help us feel a sense of oneness with our surroundings, while maintaining a foundationwithin ourselves.

In a grounded posture, through moving the pelvis and developing a sense of the perineum, we can gather the energy from our mother and move it up the spine, essentially embracing the flow of the serpent and beginning to dance merely from the connection with the source of our being, our mother.

Lower Tan Tien

By finding our center we can learn to spiral energy in and out from the core of our being. In life we may spiral out in many directions, yet having an awareness of our center allows us to recollect when needed. While exploring the dance of the serpent, using belly rolls and undulations, we massage internal organs and release stagnation. We store many of our emotional troubles in our bellies, thus independently moving the stomach helps build emotional stability. This movement aids in the flow of processing our emotions and, in digestion and bowel movements, by “waking up” the system and allowing chi or life force to flow through.

Solar Plexus

In conjunction with clearing stagnation, opening up the solar plexus chakra allows the inner-self to radiate like the sun. When we dance, we allow our expression to shine out through our body and movements. Opening the solar plexus in belly dance can help spread the rib cage, allowing for deeper, well-rounded breaths and further flexibility in the movements.

Heart

Lifting the chest, as taught in belly dance, creates a more open and proud heart. Through the control of our upper body we can gain power over the receptiveness of our heart. In belly dance we dance with the heart open and giving, yet realize that we have ownership over this chakra just as we do any other part of our body. Originally, as a rite of passage, mothers taught this dance to their daughters as a gift of the heart. Furthermore, dance feels good; we love and enjoy it as a gift to others and ourselves. Opening and dancing from the heart helps posture, self-confidence, and our capacity to love.

Throat

Dance, like words, is a form of expression, a way of explaining who we are. A dance can tell stories in a language that is sensory and more abstract than the human brain can break down. In belly dance the neck is long as the head floats up to the sky and the shoulders are relaxed. Through the dance we can speak and say things that may be too personal, deep, or buried to make out in words. By telling our story and simply saying “here I am in this moment” the dance speaks of feelings and thus helps us get in touch with them and know ourselves better. Opening this communicative chakra helps overcome conflicts sooner and can assist in taking the weight off our chest, so we can dance and live feeling light and free.

Third Eye

Using different imagery helps us explore a range of movement qualities. Using third-eye visualizations may actually open up sensations and channels in the body. For example, I often describe moving the arms as if I am surrounded in water. This creates a more deliberate flow of movement and cultivates chi. The third eye is about vision and creating. Dance gives power to the vision and can therefore help us accomplish our goals or dreams. By connecting our third-eye visions to movement, we can make them and their manifestations an everyday part of our life through dancing.

Crown

When the crown chakra is aligned and alert we can feel light as a feather. In belly dance the upper body and head is very light and flowing, given its base from the lower body. The top of the head is where the energy flows up and out like a fountain of abundance. This is a visual that I like to use. By opening the crown chakra and allowing our energy to rise up and explode out, we can refill our bodies with energy and life, continuously calling more qi in through our movements in a cycle of renewable creativity.

Awakening Your Serpent Spine

Adelaide teaches classes and workshops focusing on awakening the coiled snake that lies at the base of our spine referred to as “Kundalini” in the yogic philosophy of ancient India. The image of coiling, like a spring, conveys the sense of untapped potential energy. Adelaide uses sleek, serpent-like movements of the spine to tap into this creative potential, allowing Kundalini energy to spring and rise through the chakra system. Unlocking Kundalini will take you on a journey of sensory awakening, which will stimulate your life with new insights, energy, and creativity, helping you move through your inner and outer obstacles to living your highest potential.

Dance moves can reveal your personality
The way you dance can reveal information about your personality, scientists have found.

By Richard Gray, Science Correspondent
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/science-news/8131236/Dance-moves-can-reveal-your-personality.html

It is where many couples first set eyes on one another - and now research suggests that the dancefloor is the perfect place to gauge a prospective partner's personality.

Scientists have claimed that the way a person gyrates in time to music can betray secrets of their character.

Using personality tests, the researchers assessed volunteeers into one of five "types". They then observed how each members of each group danced to different kinds of music. They found that:

* Extroverts moved their bodies around most on the dance floor, often with energetic and exaggerated movements of their head and arms.

* Neurotic individuals danced with sharp, jerky movements of their hands and feet – a style that might be recognised by clubbers and wedding guests as the "shuffle".

* Agreeable personalities tended to have smoother dancing styles, making use of the dance floor by moving side to side while swinging their hands.

* Open-minded people tended to make rhythmic up-and-down movements, and did not move around as much as most of the others

* People who were conscientious or dutiful moved around the dance floor a lot, and also moved their hands over larger distances than other dancers.

Dr Geoff Luck of the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland, who led the research, said: "Music is known to evoke strong emotions in people and emotions can be expressed through bodily movement.

"People use body motions as reliable indicators of others' personality types, and even the movements of robots have been shown to elicit attributes of 'personality' by observers."

The researchers studied the dance moves of 60 volunteers who had been selected from 900 people who conducted personality tests. The dancers were picked due to having strong scores in one of the five main personality traits being studied.

Each of the volunteers were asked to dance spontaneously to 30 different tracks from six different genres of music – rock, techno, Latin, jazz, funk and pop.

Using motion capture technology, the researchers recorded the dance styles of all the volunteers as they were played each musical clip before analysing the movements using computer software.

The researchers found strong correlations between certain dancing styles and each of the personalities. They also discovered that different personalities danced in different ways depending on the music.

Rock music tended to bring out stereotypical headbanging moves, particularly among those with an extrovert personality.

Those with open-minded personalities seemed to make more rhythmical limb movements than anyone else during techno music.

Agreeable individuals seemed to move around more confidently than the others during Latin music, while the conscientious participants changed from moving around the dance floor to making smaller jerkier movements while listening to techno music.

Rock music appeared to be the only genre that brought neurotics out of their shells; otherwise they tended to make small, nervous movements.

Dr Luck, a researcher in "music-related movement" - also known as dancing - added: "Certain movements may be more representative of particular genres, such as the way listeners tend to nod their head or tap their foot when listening to jazz music.

"Future work might examine how other genres of music, such as classical or world music, influence listeners' spontaneous movements. Such music may not elicit the same kind of rhythmical dancing movements, but would help us better understand the effects of music on body movement."

Michelle Groves, associate dean at the faculty of education at the Royal Academy of Dance, said professional dancers were trained to express their emotions when they danced and tended to hide their personalities, but this would be less obvious in untrained people.

She said: "There has been work in the past that has shown you can guess at a person's personality from the way they move, but it hasn't looked at dance.

"Professional dancers tend to have introverted personalities, but they are are highly emotional which they draw on when they are performing. It is a nice contrast to this research with people who have not been through a period of training, as their personality comes through more clearly and it hasn't been self-selected."

Dr Peter Lovatt, a psychologist at the University of Hertfordshire and a former professional dancer, said dancing and movement could convey subtle messages about the way people are feeling and thinking, which has its routes deep in our evolutionary history.

He said: "There is a common train of thought that dancing is related to sexual selection and is part of the mate selection process.

"We have done some work asking 14,000 people to describe their dancing styles and we saw that dancing changes with age as their confidence in dancing changes.

"Confidence plays an important role in the way people dance. Self esteem also plays an important role and this can influence a person's personality."

Here's a great introduction to practicing Tai Chi movement by using a ball in both hands to demonstrate how the body moves and flows with energy.  Years ago I practiced with some of Terry Dunn's videos while I was training at the White Birch School of Traditional Martial Arts in northern Virginia, and he has some great introductory videos on Yang Style tai chi:

If I Can’t Dance It’s Not My Revolution
Shake yourself into ecstatic truth!

By Bradford Keeney

IN THE BEGINNING OF HUMAN CULTURE, PEOPLE KNEW HOW TO SHAKE THEIR BOOTIES AND IN DOING SO, THE SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE WERE REVEALED.

Then along came language, social hierarchy, overinflated beliefs and the mirages of under-standing. Whereas human beings embodied the most important truths in the beginning, it all went to hell when we stilled our bodies and fed too many words to our minds.

Look at the oldest library in the world – the rock art of southern Africa. What we see are images of people dancing themselves into ecstasy. Many generations later the elders of the oldest living culture on Earth today, the Kalahari Bushmen, still know that the electrified body inspired by heightened feelings – rather than anything remotely related to a calm and still presence – is the master key to being fully alive.

What is most important has little or nothing to do with words and linguistic understanding. As the Bushmen say, words can trick us into believing anything. With word trickery we may end up worshipping a pile of elephant dung or a heap of metal. Somewhere between the early cradle of civilization and the internet, our species made the colossal mistake of proclaiming that words, theories and understandings are the roads to salvation and happiness. If this is true or even partially true, it means we have been misled for over a thousand years. The word games have led us to posit one form of gender, race, culture, nation, or religion as superior to others – thereby justifying any and all acts of arrogant greed, war and destruction of life and planet.

Religions and philosophies can never deliver the truth we most deeply desire. Our born destiny is the same as the first humans – to release our bodies, our whole beings, into feeling and expressing the deepest joy and ecstasy. In other words, dancing ourselves into heaven, enlightenment, peace and love. If there is anything history teaches, it is that words and understandings aren’t giving us anything but more of the same bullshit. We need to start up the wild drumming and shake off the words and stuck thoughts.

If we don’t free ourselves to be ecstatically tuned and happy, we may continue going to hell while taking the planet down with us.

What does it mean to sound the revolution? Here’s a few teasers that provide some hints – remember, it can’t be said in words:

  • You gotta go beyond dance: no choreography, let the body be free to move without purpose.
  • Recognize that whatever the great mystery or god is, it hates all reasonable and tamed definitions.
  • Meditation without wild ecstasy is a dead end.
  • Don’t sit still when you are excited. Get up and move!
  • The wisdom of the East is as ignorant as the wisdom of the West. Look where both have gotten us. Let’s consider the wisdom of Mother Africa, the ancestral culture that honored rhythms more than words.
  • The revolution is through sounding it and allowing yourself to be fully shaken.
  • The trouble with gurus is that they don’t have a rhythm, they don’t shake and they don’t wiggle their ass.
  • This is the revolution: Shake everything up – your body, mind, heart, ideas, understandings and everyday routines. Shake yourself into ecstatic truth.

The Beautiful Puzzle
Do SOMETHING!
Beacons of Light-October 2010

101010 Moment
Riding the wave of the moment of 101010

From Steve:

At the moment of 101010 there was a wave of energy that hit us all. It had been traveling around the world on its way west. It was bringing in a new wave of energy that we were expecting and anticipating. We were not disappointed.

Big hugs

Steve

Greetings from Home.

Beauty An Anchor of Light

Home is now changing because of what you are doing here on this planet. Each and every one of you has brought a very special segment of Home to planet Earth to carry with you. This part of Home is not only your message, internal guidance, and spark of light, but it is something that you refer to on your planet as beauty. There is much that will be coming as humans evolve to carry more of their spirit in the physical being. Many of your changes have been emotional and energetic, yet they are starting to occur on a physical level as well. It is easy to see where this is going. We will share with you what will be helpful to know as you experience these changes and this transformation. We wish to tell you about the one anchor, the piece that will hold your energy in all situations during all these growth experiences. We know this is difficult for most of you to hear or understand and especially to feel. But we will ask you to take this information into your mental body first then simply filter it down, for you are carrying the beauty of Home within your being right now.

Many of you have come in with a strong heart connection. As a child you had to learn how to tone that down and pull in your energy to try and fit into a world you did not seem to fit in. That became very problematic, yet you learned how to hold your energy field in to give you the illusion of being separate.

Now you are starting to understand that you are connected, and you always have been. You are starting to let go of that restriction, of that energy field that you have compacted so tightly around you. Now that you are starting to return to who you truly are, and there is something that will happen to almost each and every one of you. You will feel a loss of your own grounding process, and when this happens the first thing you begin to do is to doubt yourself. It is very common on this planet right now that as you look at things you have been doing for a very long time, you start to wonder if you are doing them right. You are beginning to doubt yourself in many ways, but we do not even think that is such a negative. Instead, it is simply an opportunity for you to  re-evaluate everything. So, as we start to lose this restriction, we begin to connect to different energy fields and feel other people like you have before. You are starting to feel your own connection with everyone else  around you. Because that is unusual, it makes you lose your autonomy and your separateness, the illusion of  who you think you are.

Inner Beauty

That is why you are starting to work with harmonizing techniques and learning how you can send your energy safely out into the universe. If we told you that you could send a stream of your beauty and energy out into the universe and it could be felt by everyone, very few of you would do it because you think that your energy is not perfect. You would doubt yourself so much that you would block and restrict your own beauty. Because you are on the planet of Free Choice, it has become a continual cycle for all humans to do that. It is part of the process you have of bringing in your energy field and pretending to be separate from the whole. Now it is changing, as you start to release these boundaries which you have worked so hard on during your incarnations on Earth. The first thing you see is that you are part of the whole. What we are telling you is that you are part of a puzzle that cannot exist without you. You hold a unique beauty, a part of Home that can only be seen through your smile, your words and your vibration. Your first and most important responsibility is to find your own inner beauty, for that part of the puzzle is needed now. This will be scary for most of you. It is easy to find beauty in someone or something else, and yet it is difficult for you to see your own. It is part of the veil which you have described, that you actually created at the beginning of the game of planet Earth. It is a part of the veil that you designed that keeps one from seeing who they truly are. Now that veil is starting to  disintegrate. A slow but steady degradation of the veil is well underway. The veil is starting to diminish and you are starting to feel things that you have never felt before.

Do Something!

You are beginning to become aware that you hold a responsibility in the universe to play a role in the process.  Deep inside you are aware of a feeling that you are supposed to do something big in your life. We  concur and predict that soon you will have a chance to bring your own part of beauty from Home to create  Heaven on Earth. Every one of you has been working on this, for it is a grand puzzle piece that cannot exist  until all the parts are in place. You hold one of those pieces. Your passion, your excitement, those things that  light up your spirit will take you to your beauty. They will take you to the most incredible ideas, and please  understand the way you have defined beauty on this planet is very strange. It is interesting to see how each  one defines beauty, because it is a part of Home seen from many views.

It is a remembrance of a part that you know. When you find yourself watching a sunrise over a pristine pasture and you see that energy coming in and say, "Oh, this is beautiful!" you are remembering Home. You  are remembering that same feeling you have every single moment at Home. At this time it will be very helpful to spend time each day renewing your idea of beauty, to appreciate and practice expressing this beauty. It is  time to dare to let people see you and to let them in to release this restricting boundary that you have worked so hard to hold on to. It is time to start letting go.

These are the pieces that each and every one of you is starting to walk through. It is not easy, and we know  that. Although we have never incarnated on Earth and played the game of pretending to be human, we are  here to help you re-member your true nature for we are part of you on a much larger level. We are here to  help you re-member that you are a spirit first, and a human second. We are here to help you re-member that  you are a grand family, that you are sons and daughters of the king. You are special beyond your belief and  you have a light from Home that is needed on this planet now more than ever before. We know that it is scary  for you. We know that you doubt yourself, it is part of the human condition and yet we applaud you.   When you feel the wind at your back, it is our wings brushing against each other as we applaud each and  every one of you as you step out of that little comfort zone that you have nurtured for so long to be your  safety zone. Now you will find that it will restrict you.

It will frustrate you, it will make you doubt yourself and that is why each and every one of you can start releasing and become the energy field that you always were. For the first time it is possible to hold that energy  in one of your physical bodies. It is new and there are new forms of communication that are coming as  a result. Humans currently spend hours talking to each other using words to communicate with little  success. Then when the vibrations are in sync it only takes a split second to make your point. You will be able  to very quickly go through and hit those levels of what we have called Deep Contact. It is part of your natural form as you start releasing much of what you have built to protect you.

The Backwash of Doubt

This is a time to let you know that it is okay to feel as if you do not have it all. It is okay to feel frail, because  everybody else on the planet is feeling the same way even if they are not saying so. It is part of the human  condition that humans are going through right now in preparation for what is coming. We have mentioned the  waves that have come through Earth and have talked about them for many years.

The energy waves began on 01-01-01 and 02-02-02. It is very simple to say that if you catch the crest of
this wave, it can simply push you forward very easily. Your own energy field has changed, as you have done  and are doing your work. You are changing yourself consciously; the outside world is changing. It is more  acceptable for you to be who you are. With all your beautiful attributes and frailties, you must understand our  view of you. You are the perfect imperfection of god, for everything on this side of the veil must have a bit of  imperfection within it in order to exist. Therefore, god became imperfect and played a game to pretend to be  imperfect. That is you. Now you are awakening from the dream. Now you are starting to find that you have  powers beyond your understanding. You are finding that you are not separate from each other and, in fact,  you have connections even if you are not ready for them. So the one piece we will ask you to start looking at  is to dare to see your own beauty. It is very difficult, for you are trained otherwise. When each and every one  of you looks in the mirror, you immediately see your imperfections that you have been striving constantly to be  perfect. Now we are going to ask you to stop striving and own who you are. Own all of it...what you call  imperfections are the pieces that fit in perfectly.

It was a while ago, dear ones, that mankind learned to make a substance very similar to diamonds. In fact,  this caused diamond manufacturers to inscribe their diamonds because they cannot tell the difference between  manmade and natural diamonds. Most of the diamonds being made today are for industrial use, but we find it  interesting and the reason is very simple. There are no imperfections in the manmade diamonds, therefore,  they are not valuable. Is that not interesting? They are too perfect. It is actually the inclusions inside-the way  the diamond reflects the light and sparkles that makes it beautiful. That is you. We are now looking at the  overall part of the diamond-the overall part of you. Instead of looking at the imperfections, we are going to  focus on the imperfections and find a way to use them positively. The imperfections are part of the inclusions  in your diamond that make your diamond a unique beauty from Home. It is not easy, for it means owning your mastery and owning who you are. The difficult part is your egos, because your egos always have to be in balance. You are aware of this.

Making Space for the Other Gods:
The Art of Empowerment

Many of you watch too closely and are so concerned about being in the ego that you never stand up and speak your peace. You never share the part of beauty that you brought from Home. So, it is about balancing  all of that, yet you want the check and the way to check your ego and expressing your own true beauty, is  very simple. Are you making space for the other gods in the universe? We tell you right now that the grandest  secret that we could ever tell you is that you are god. You are that which you have been searching for.

Searching on the outside has led you inward. You are that one piece that holds it all, and yet the veil keeps  you from re-membering it. The veil keeps you from your connection to Home. So once you start removing the  veil, you start feeling this power and connection, then the first thing you do is run against the brick wall  because you forgot that you are not the only god. We are going to help you re-member and experience the  changes that all humans are beginning to right now. The way we will work with you on this, dear ones, is to  hold you up to the highest light that we can. We are here to empower you in any way we can. We hope you  take that message and empower somebody else, because true empowerment is only activated when you are  surrounded by empowered people. You have created an empowered society in a moment's notice and it will happen. You can now hold that energy in your energy field. You can now hold more of your connection to  Home in your physical body because of the changes and evolution every one of you are experiencing. Fear,  loneliness and feeling unworthy are the human emotions that each and every one of you will have going  through these levels of evolution. The challenge is when you truly doubt yourself, when you truly believe that  you are not worthy or you have nothing to give. We tell you that if that were the case, you would not be on  planet
Earth.

This is not an easy planet to be on; it is not a vacation spot. Although it is the garden of the universe, it is a very difficult energy to be in as far as planetary energies go. We are here to help you re-member your true  nature, your strengths, and your own energy. We are not here to tell you that you must go this way or that  way, for that is entirely up to you. These are your choices, because you are on the planet of free choice. Do  not judge yourself for the choices, simply make them even if they are what you consider to be wrong. If you   make the choice, you can go back and change it. If you do not make the choice, you fall into a rut of default.  This is where many challenges come in, for you are no longer in control of your life.

These are the times you are starting to take charge. Even though you may not know exactly the direction or   what that feels or looks like, you may know that where you are does not hold the energy for you. So moving   in any direction will put you on the path of making choices and creating your own environment, even if it is  not  the perfect environment you want. It will lead you to make those choices  and to openly find that piece.

The Field Used as a Resonance Chamber

Dear ones, the energy field has been expanding around your body. For a very long time it was only about two  inches away from your body, and now for many of you it has extended 6 to8 feet, and for others 10 feet.  This has taken a lot of work. It has also taken a lot of restrictions and effort on your part. However, it  has paid off quite well because now as each and every one of you evolve, you will use this energy field that  you had around your body as your resonant chamber. As your base energy from which you will now broadcast, your energy field will now expand and will no longer be restricted by the boundaries. There will be  a lot of misuse of this energy in the beginning. There will be a lot of people trying to use it for their own  purposes, as more becomes known. There will be a lot of the typical things that humans do when they learn  something new. Yet, it is one of the biggest keys that is going to help you take these steps. We talked about  being at the crest of the wave simply to give you a ride, to give you a little bit more of your energy instead of  having to fight for every part of it. What we have not told you is that before every wave that comes onto the  shore, there is a backwash of energy that feels like it is going in the other direction. The water must come  back out to build the wave to come back in. You are in that backwash right now. This is why some of you are  panicking or feeling stuck, overreacting to your surrounding environment. This is why many have very raw  emotions, and feel as if you are right on the edge of your world.

Do not fear what we are telling you. It is helpful to know that you are not alone, but it is also helpful to know  that this is an evolutionary process that all human beings are going through. To get from Point A to Point B  where you can carry more of your own spirit in your physical body, it is necessary to go through some of  these changes. The same effect will be felt with 111111 and 121212.

So, this is the backwash. It is the time when you feel all of the energy being sucked from you instead of filling  you up. But we will have you keep your eye on the bigger picture, because as strong as that backwash is and  as lost as some of you may feel right now, you know what is coming. You know that this first wave of energy  entering over the next three years is bringing a new form of humanity, a new empowered environment that you  have never had the opportunity to exist in before. These are not easy transitions for humans resist  change. It is one of your safety mechanisms to not change. Now you will find you will release more freely.

You will welcome it and even though you have been building this energy field and this safety zone for so long,  as you start to feel it move, get excited. Look at all the possibilities. Look at what is happening to you, and  look at what effect you have on people around you that you have never thought you had. Do this and you will  start to feel your inner beauty. This is a time to take the next step consciously and to begin to work with this  energy on a daily basis and to fear not. Play with it. Play, pretending to be the new human. Play putting the  most beauty out there that you can dare to see. We are not talking about physical beauty, but about passion  and the things that make your spirit light up. It will almost always show in a physical form, but you must  re-member that physical beauty is not defined on our planet because it means something different to each and  every one of you.

There is always someone who will see your beauty if you let it out. All that is necessary is to know that you  are on the right path, to be able to see your effect and be able to take those steps. This backwash that you  are in right now is in preparation.

This is the final clearing as the first wave settles in. Many people on this planet will be off center, because this  first wave of energy you will be standing in all the murk and mire and all the confusion, you will be standing  perfectly still as a beacon of light that others will come up to and say, "What is going on? What is happening?  What are you feeling? What do you have to offer about this?" These are the times when you start to find your  own true beauty and own it. It is time, dear ones, to start to own your mastery. Own who you are. Not just in  this lifetime, but in all the incarnations that you have had here.  Draw on that strength. Draw on that energy  from your ancestors, bring it in. It is all there for you right now. Above all, enjoy this ride.

It is with the greatest of honor that we leave you these words and leave you with three little reminders. Treat  each other with the greatest respect for that is the way of an empowered society. Nurture everyone at every  chance you get and re-member it is a beautiful game and play well together.

Espavo.

10/10/10. Convergence of Spirit into Human.

I am feeling the afterglow of this illuminating experience. With so many Lightworkers gathering in one location the light that was spread will shine throughout this world for months ahead.

We held this occasion at the Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center. I think everyone felt the welcome this hotel sent out. The people working there expressed how they loved all the Lightworkers who attended. They could feel the joy that was in our hearts. They graciously extended themselves to meet our every need. The  desert beauty with its warm sunshine was enjoyed by all but the day before this area was hit with four   tornados, clearing the way for what was to come. Either before or after our event people visited the   landmarks nearby such as Sedona and the Grand Canyon.

I have often said before that my dream would be to have a grand party with Lightworkers around the world  joining together for a celebration. With around five hundred people from many places for this event my dream did come true.

This was a blending event in so many ways. I loved how Jim Self and Steve's work danced with their messages. Barry Goldstein performed his language of love through his vibrational music connecting all of us.  Besides presenting with Steve, which is my joy and passion, I felt I was able to connect with all of you in my own individual way as emcee. I was happy that at the beginning of the conference I announced that I wanted a hug from each and every one of you. I think I nearly collected all of them. For those of you I missed you owe me!

When we first started 10/10/10 all the attendees came in with anticipation. The excitement was in the air from  the very first moment. Barry made me laugh when he said it was like coming to a wedding with someone  asking "Are you here for the bride's side of the family or from the grooms?" Many people had the question  "Are you here for Steve Rother of Jim Self?" Five minutes into our time together there was no separation. We  were all gathering for a spiritual family reunion as one.

I enjoyed our women's panel segment. We represented different backgrounds and ages. But the message that  all of us expressed is the blend of female-male energy. The message was to empower ourselves and each  other. I personally loved getting to know Roxanne who is Jim's partner in love and work. We both know what it takes to support our men and add our own energy to the work.

It was my delight to add my part on this glorious event of 10/10/10. I felt truly alive and invigorated. For those in attendance in person or online I hope that you feel that you got to know me better. Yes, I do like to have fun!

This special date was celebrated all over the world in many ways. We felt the wave of energy that swept all  across the globe connecting us as one. I feel my heart connecting with yours.

Love and Light

Barbara
