How to Start Embracing Change

Ever had a day where you woke up feeling ’stuck’? Has life thrown you an irony that’s totally thrown your life as you know it completely off course? Want to know how to deal with it?

More than likely, if your reading this, you’ve probably made a conscious or a subconscious decision to begin working on yourself. Sure, this blog is filled with great tips to start you on that journey; but in order to benefit the most from all this great information, you will first need to start embracing change.

Here are five great tips to help you regain your direction!

1. Drop the Drama
The more drama that we involve ourselves in makes it more difficult to adapt when change happens to us. If you look at it from a broader perspective, who really WANTS a complicated life anyway? But we have been conditioned to feel that complications are necessary, and there are MANY reasons for them too! Sometimes, drama makes us feel needed, or special. Sometimes it may be a belief that the drama is forced upon us, or that it’s an obligation. Learning to detach yourself from the dramatic baggage will make it easier for you to bend when the time calls for it.

2. Adapt! The Plan VS the Goal
Someone once told me, that it doesn’t matter HOW you get to a destination, as long as you get to your destination. Sometimes, the best laid plans can fail - and for those of us who are rigidly attached to a plan get hurt the most. Change this mindset, lose your attachment to the plan, instead, become attached to the goal. Esther Hicks, from the Law of Attraction, reminds us that with clear intentions and goals - as well as a positive outlook ‘attracting’ what we want - can help you become more aware of the actions you need to take to attain your goal. But don’t forget, change and attraction take effort. Make a choice to WANT your goal, then make another choice to take actions to move towards that goal. Everything else will fall into place.

3. Live Simple
Make a choice to live a simple life. No, I’m not telling you to discard all your material possessions and join a monastery. I’m telling you to try and simplify the complicated situations that we place ourselves in. For example, juggling balances between 5 credit cards, while managing a family, paying off a mortgage, and repairing your car is NOT a simple existence. This kind of life is complicated, because it is not organized. ‘Getting Things Done’ by David Allen is a great book on how to simplify our tremendously overloaded lives through an easy to use method that is more common sense than anything else. According to Allen, having a clear mind also reduces stress, blood pressure, and alleviates plenty of headaches.

4. Look Forward
Change brings new energies into our lives. Without change, we would be living very boring lives. Choose to EMBRACE Change! Change brings new lessons, good or bad. Change keeps you on your toes, stopping you from becoming complacent. Choose to WANT positive change in your life, and know that will each new adventure Change brings, you can be one step closer to attaining what you really want in life. Change happens, whether you like it or not. It’s one of those truths in our lives. Life itself is about change. Burt Goldman, who is over 80 years old embraces change even now, his website, the American Monk has many great examples on how he allowed change into his life, and how these conscious changes have led him to learn under great mind-power masters such as Yogananda and Jose Silva, and become an International Hall-of-Fame photographer.

5. Choose!
Change is not always about fate throwing us a curve ball. We can USE change to our own advantage too. Making lifestyle decisions such as quitting smoking or eating healthier are examples of self-initated change. Making a conscious decisions to change can be a powerful experience that comes with knowing what you want in your life. But you might say, “I can’t quite smoking or go on a diet because I’m so used to it!” - SPARE ME THE DRAMA! - If you WANT change, there are plenty of resources out there that can help you embrace the change that you want in your life. Weight-loss Hypnotists like Dr. Roberta Temes have great guides that can help you re-inforce this decision to CHANGE.

One of the most powerful things that the mind is capable of is ADAPTATION. People who have mastered the art of bending with the blows have even managed to leave a lasting impact on the world.

Take for example, Mahatma Ghandi, who’s quote “Be the change you want to see in the World.” is an example of how conscious decisions from one man can bring about a whole lot of change.

Love requires generosity.
 Love requires daring and expansion.
Above all, love requires a dance of differing distances.

There is both the pas de deux and the time for solo flight.
The dance of love contains both turns.

While cherishing our time together, I freely release my beloveds to pursue a separate path if that is their destiny.  Love connects despite distance. I hold my beloveds tenderly in my heart, trusting that the distance that separates us also brings us together, gifting us with a stronger appreciation of our unique bond.

Freedom is a requirement of real love.
I honor my beloveds with the gift of freedom.

Today, I open my hand. I release my loved ones to their separate and unique destinies. I cherish them tenderly within my heart while flinging asides the ropes of control that might bind them.

I love with an open hand and a resilient heart.

By Julia Cameron

Happy Valentine's day, everybody!  Today we celebrate the bond of unconditional love that unites us throughout time and space.  Let us honor those whom we have released from our past to find their blessings, those whom we have met and made part of ourselves as well as those whom we have yet to meet but greatly anticipate.

Thank you for being part of the share, you are what makes this all so wonderful and special.

Enjoy every moment and live the passionate life you intend it to be.

Aloha pumehana (with blessings, love and affection)!

Getting Past the Con

Yesterday I was about to post my status on MySpace and checkout my financial accounts...and made the shocking discovery that things were continuing to spiral from bad to worse this past week. My debit card was stolen and my account drained of $500. And I know now that the person who took my card is the same one who stole money from me this past weekend...which turned out to be my personal caregiver, Deborah...she just lied to my face, cheated me and stole from me...!

The drama started up again yesterday morning with phone calls to report my stolen card, no ride to work, and no money. What do I do after that????

Well, I do what I can do.... first, place my name on some healing lists and, second, do healing for myself. And after letting myself vent about it for a while, I'm ready to move on....

But what may appear to be a bad thing could actually be a good thing, a blessing...Were these events really a bad thing?

I'm glad the truth came out much sooner than later and I wasn't physically harmed in the course of being robbed. I've been relieved of what could have potentially been a far more expensive, dangerous and traumatic incident(s). A fearful, angry, and desperate person will be quick to act on his/her desperation when they give in to their belief of lack, filling themselves with visions of loss and abandonment, possibly even remembering pain from such experiences in the past.

Lesson learned? Be careful and discerning of the people you allow into your inner circle. They can either create conflict and drama and drag you down or enlighten and uplift you with joyful harmony. Choose to believe in the latter within yourself and others...like attracts like and you'll get to live in and with mutually synchronistic relationships...

The drama is over now.

Compassion and forgiveness are key now for Deborah's own sake as well as mine to heal and bring about a peaceful resolution to this abrupt end. It's not surprising that this is the path she's chosen to walk down for now...Deborah is on Social Security and her income was cut by over $250 in the past month or so, right after she moved out on her own into a new apartment.

So I wish her well and pray that she will soon return to her Christian faith...and remember to recognize and embrace the abundance and love of God that has always existed in her life.

Experience has taught me to move quickly beyond such things and letting go of them. I let myself experience the emotional pain and speak about it to release it completely from myself and replace it with peaceful harmony....heal, meditate, breathe...then it's gone....and onto healthier and happier times.

Years ago i was so highly intuitive I didn't know how to shield and separate myself from others' fears and pains. I would get thrown so off-balance to the point of illness and from what I understand, that's not so uncommon for intuitives. But I'm a born optimist and have learned to follow the Inner Voice to a T by channeling my energies into more peaceful, productive and happier endeavors.

If anyone's heard of Palau or Guam, you'll probably hear about the frequent and intense, sometimes catastrophic typhoons. So we learn to be prepared for the worst but expect the best, and appreciate the blessings of clean water, working electricity and communal support.

You learn of the ephemeral nature of superficial material things and status...

Growing up in Palau as a kid, most folks lived in wooden houses with tin roofs, outhouses, outdoor showers or communal baths. But we lived richly and abundantly from the land and ocean...I grew up never witnessing hunger or homelessness, experiencing only the loving kindness of a large, extended family.

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;

Where knowledge is free;

Where the world has not been broken up
into fragments by narrow domestic walls;

Where words come out from the depth of truth;

Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;

Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into
the dreary desert sand of dead habit;

Where the mind is led forward by thee
Into ever-widening thought and action--

Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

Rabindranath Tagore, "Gitanjali"
from http://peacefulrivers.homestead.com/Tagore.html

Rabindranath Tagore was a recognized poet, philosopher and thinker. In 1913 he won the Nobel Prize for Literature. His poetry calls out for a re-connection with the divine in every moment we live on Earth.

Today on this beautifully sunny weekend I send to you an energy boost to help you release any fear and anxiety blocks about succeeding in these challenging times. When you can intend for success in life and allow yourself to accept it, you can begin to realize a clear vision of that success. Accept the boost to also give you patience, endurance, and joy. To help you be mindful of the power of humor and seek out every opportunity to laugh. Thanks so much for all you do as healers and friends.

Enjoy the previous posts...along with the post on the healing properties of quartz crystals, I've posted videos by Serge Kahili King on the ancient Hawaiian philosophy of living with Huna. He speaks about the 7 principles of Huna and what Vince Wingo has termed the 7 Laws of Attraction.

Enjoy every moment and live the passionate life you intend it to be.

Aloha pumehana (with blessings, love and affection)!

Angel of Life Purpose
from www.newagestore.com

Full Meaning:

Each of us comes into this world with a special mission or life purpose that only we can accomplish. Often we have a sense of what this purpose is from the time we are very young yet few are fortunate enough to have that sense of purpose encouraged or supported. Instead many of us are pushed into doing things that our parents or other people feel is really best for us to be doing, they ignore our own vision of what we came here to do because THEIRS was also ignored when they were young as well! It takes great strength of will and stamina to go against what others may see us being right for us and sadly many fall into that trap of living out someone else’s dream.

Yet there is an Angel of Life Purpose who is always with each of us, trying to remind us in each moment what it is we know we came here to accomplish. This Angel speaks to us when we are working at jobs that we hate and desperately wishing there was something else we could be doing to pay the rent and put food on the table! It is at those moments especially when this Angel begins to speak to us, urging us to take hold of our original desire and sense of life purpose and begin to work in the present moment to make it a reality! Even if on the surface it looks like it might be very difficult indeed to accomplish our life's purpose and make a living to boot, this Angel stands ready to say that money and support flows where the life purpose is also being focused upon, and in far greater abundance than we would ever receive working at jobs or careers that we hate! We shall also find that as we begin the process of moving towards accomplishing our life mission that all the pieces begin to fall into place with greater and greater ease. We feel more alive and awake when we are pursuing that which we love, our days are filled with joy and harmony rather than struggle and strife. Even the old career becomes easier to bear when we understand that it is a springboard to where we really desire to be in life. We can remain in our old job even as we are embarking on the new and through it, we may even find people that are happy to lend a hand or can lead us to still others who can help us accomplish our life purpose.

For those who are confused as to what their life purpose may be, think back and call upon this Angel to help remind you of what you wanted to be when you were young. I wanted to be an Anthropologist and later, a Forensic Anthropologist. In many ways, my work now does involve digging through the bones of the past to help a client piece together the puzzle of their own life. I help them root through all the aspects of themselves that were " killed off" by their family myth or expectations or simply because society was not ready to embrace what these people had to offer so they drove their life purpose deep underground. I find that I am living out my life purpose though not in ways I ever expected when I was younger! Perhaps though, nothing comes to mind as to what you felt you wanted to be when "you grew up". It may well be that there was nothing in those days that could help you define what your life mission might be, no container to embrace it. Like many others, you may find that you need to create a new niche for your work to find fulfilment. You may love to do research for example and yet have a difficult time finding the right research projects to embark upon that also help to pay the bills! It may be that the research you have come here to do involves alternative methods or ideas, concepts that the world does not yet know it needs and yet stands poised to embrace. There may not be a "career" that you can name but you can still get a sense of all it involves and through this, this Angel will help lead you straight into the sort of work that is truly a part of your mission here on earth. This involves a huge amount of trust and faith as well! It’s so easy to follow in someone else's footsteps yet much harder to blaze your own trail. Yet facing this challenge will also bring you rewards that you have not even dreamed of yet! Or perhaps you need to simply spend some quiet time with this Angel, asking what your life purpose or mission truly is and how you can begin the process of bringing it into your reality. You may find that you love to write and from that, this Angel begins to bring you many topics and ideas to write upon. Perhaps this will lead to a book or having your work published in other ways that brings you great success and joy! Yet you shall never know unless you try, unless you actively pursue those things that give you joy in your daily life even if you can't see how any of it could possibly become a career you truly love.

This Angel also desires for us to know that each of us is worthy of having work that is both life sustaining and fulfilling. Every human being who lives to be between the ages of 38 and 45 goes through what we call "mid-life crises". This is an astrological as well as an inner phenomenon in which the individual is pushed to reconcile what gives meaning and a sense of purpose to life and what does not. This is why so many feel compelled to walk away from careers (among other things) that one has been able to maintain up until this point, but no longer! Some where some how the person knows that something is terribly wrong and the original intent to embark upon the career in the first place now seems meaningless. This Angel is hard at work during these years, pushing the person to begin reaching for that which is their true life's purpose! The person knows deep inside that not to have that sense of mission and purpose means that they have already started the death process. Some folks do leave during these years due to heart attack or an accident if they cannot allow themselves to reach for something that gives them a sense of purpose in life. It is a very difficult time, a time when an individual realizes that nothing, not money, success, an appearance of power or prestige, wearing the right lable of designer clothing, none of it is life sustaining if one is not fulfilling one's life purpose. Even worse is the sense that one may have wasted the best years of one's life in pursuit of an illusion that has left them feeling empty inside. This Angel can then intervene to remind the person that their best years are yet to come! Life can become invigorated again when one has a sense of purpose and mission. Nietzsche once wrote that "he who has a purpose to live can bear any how". Having this sense of purpose and mission keeps the body young just as it does the heart and mind. People who are pursuing their true life's purpose often do appear younger than their actual physical years. Their bodies simply do not age at the same rate as other people's because they have this constant infusion of light and vitality flowing to them through that which they love doing and do well. When we do what we love, when we actively pursue that which is our true life purpose, we attract an abundance of light and energy onto the planet which uplifts all others as well! We then make it easier for every other individual to find their own life purpose and to begin infusing it with the light of the Divine.

If you need help believing in the potential of your life's purpose, ask this Angel to begin showing you all the people that will benefit. You may hear people begin to say "gee, I wish I could find someone who is doing ______(fill in the blank) as I could really use some support in that area." Or you may be acting upon what you love doing and someone will comment how much they enjoy watching what you are doing or how you have inspired them to pursue more of what they love doing as well. The people that you connect with by doing what you love will always benefit in more ways than you can imagine. And they will tell you how much you have helped, even though you may feel you have actually done very little for them! The Universe will find a multitude of ways to help you believe in yourself and your life mission. Its clients or students you need, then those that can truly benefit will find you in one way or another, often through word of mouth. While others may feel the need to take out expensive adverts in magazines or through other media, you will find that you simply attract the perfect number of clients and students to you as you and they are ready. Or perhaps it is sales of some form you are seeking, these folks too will start appearing as if by magic, drawn to your work through the feelings of love and sense of purpose that you have put into it. Other people may feel they need to struggle to attract enough yet you will find yourself sailing along with greater ease. People that can help and support you in getting your work off the ground will appear out of nowhere as long as you are willing to truly try and have faith in yourself and the Universe!

As long as you feel a strong sense of excitement about what you are doing, it really makes your heart sing when you are doing it and you miss it when you are not, even if it is something that you have loved doing for years, then you know for a certainty that you are indeed fulfilling your life's purpose!

Some people have asked if it is possible to pursue one's life purpose and yet not attract the business or support they need to make it a success. This can happen when someone has doubts or fears in their own ability or are pursuing something they may enjoy, but it doesn't really suit their deeper needs and they are pursuing it because they can't see how they could possibly create a career doing what they would really love to be doing. It can take much soul searching to determine which may be true for anyone in this position. This Angel is ready to help the person work through this process, to help them look deep within themselves and to be totally honest about what it is they really desire! The person may indeed be on the right track, but needs to drop certain elements of what they are doing and put more emphasis on others. What ever the case may be, this Angel is calling to the person to begin examining what it is they truly want and to begin moving in that direction.

What to watch for with this Angel's presence:

You suddenly realize that a career you have been pursuing simply does not suit and you have a strong, compelling urge to seek out something that is much more in keeping with what you do during your leisure hours.

You suddenly lose a job you hated or hear that the company you are working for is downsizing and your job is up for the cut. Some folks have found that their job was "saved" by some miracle once they choose to begin pursuing something that was truly calling to them. Others have found that even though the job went away, new opportunities were suddenly presented to them as long as they were open to seeing the good in what was happening.

Someone mentions something they have been learning about and you feel a strong sense of fascination with it, a sense of "that is so me!" I felt this with Feng Shui, all they study and effort I have put into learning about it has been an absolute joy that words cannot express! You feel naturally drawn towards learning more about what ever it is and find along the way that all the information you need comes to you easily.

You may have the desire to start your own business and have many wonderful ideas of what you can achieve through it.

You gain inspiration and insight from others who are also doing what they love, these people are keen to help you in any way they can and you both prosper and grow as a result.

You feel a compelling urge to find what is of true value to you, what your time on this earth is really worth to you. We spend so much of our lives working, when you sense you need to be doing that which really gives you joy, then you know this Angel is speaking to you.

Someone may start strongly encouraging you to do those things you really love doing or even offer to help support you financially while you get this new career off the ground. I have known several people this has happened to over the years!

Other ways to work with the energy of this Angel is to write down all the things that you love to do with your free time and energy. Is there a cohesive thread that runs through them all? Or are there ways you can integrate all of the different elements so that they form the basis of your life's work? Even those things that don't appear to fit together most likely do have relevance and meaning so don't discount them!

Next, create a collage usually photos or pictures from magazines or the internet. Paste together anything that reminds you of what you would love to be doing and place it where you can see it frequently. If part of what you are seeking to create is your own business, begin the process of deciding if it is something you can do from home or if you will need to lease space for it. If home based, begin designating and clearing that space now, don't wait! This sets forth the intent that you will have what you desire! If you find you need to lease a space, begin searching for the right area now, even if you don't have the money yet. You will if you keep going!

Find ways to honour what you love to do in what every way you can. One thing I do is to keep flowers in my own work space as well as a crystal or two and other elements that remind me of how fortunate I am to be doing what I love with my days! It need not be elaborate, sometimes the most simple of things can be the best! Light a candle each day to remind you that your own life's work is now being illuminated through this Angel and the Universe and also to give thanks for all the insight and awareness you have already been given. Spend time conversing with this Angel, telling it of all your hopes and dreams for the future, allow yourself to become truly excited by fulfilling your own Life's purpose, make it a part of your career/business team! You deserve to have days filled with the energy of doing what you love!

The Art Of Manifestation
(or The Law of Attraction
)

The 'Art' of Manifestation is really not based on talent and skill, but the simple recognition of the most fundamental universal law.

The Universe supplies exactly and absolutely what you perceive your reality to be, that is to say, what you believe in.

If your appeal is "I want ...", then it gives you precisely that, more of WANT, and not WHAT you want, for your reality is that you WANT.

Rather, state the most powerful words in existence: "I AM...", and then add what you perceive yourself to be and KNOW that it already IS. Do not hope or wish for - simply know that it already IS and give thanks.

The immediacy of the intended manifestation is in direct proportion to the FEELING with which you charge your thoughts and words. As you still believe in time, it may take a little time to translate into the physical, but it MUST manifest.

Core Identity: Are you who YOU want to be?
March 17th, 2008

The "science" behind this states that everybody has 2 versions of themselves:

1. the identity they really walk around with = the shell
2. the person they really want to be = the core identity

The core identity is the true identity, held captive by lack of knowledge, and circumstance.

If you are working as a lawyer in a law firm, working 70hr weeks and not very satisfied, your shell dictates that you are a stressed out lawyer.

But, your core identity could be that of an artist. Or a Casanova. Or a rock star.
That’s your core identity. That’s who YOU want to be.

Most communication between people is surface to surface, shell to shell. That means, you hear someone’s words, and based on those words, you comply…or not.

Our deepest core desires are never things such as ‘make money’, ‘get out of the house’, etc… If this is what you think it is, your brain is lying to you. It’s never something like that. These are the just surface outcomes. The truth is, the whole point of ourselves is to create and to perpetuate experiences. Goals are meaningless.

If you think about what you want in life, you will probably find that it’s not about money or wealth. It’s experiences, as well as to perpetuate, and to create.

You need to know who you are, and who you want to be. But, how do you know?

THE QUESTION:

If there were no limitations or consequences, what would your perfect, average day look like?

Limitations means you don’t have to worry about money, health, geography nor limiting people.

Consequences means it has to be something safe, not anything that will get you in trouble or arrested. Be wise.

Average means you could do it everyday and not get killed (this means your perfect day would not include climbing Mount Everest, for example.)

Ask yourself:

Where would you live?
What would your house look like?
What time would you wake up?
What would you do in the morning?
What would you do in the first hour of your day?
Who would you eat with?
What would you eat?
What would your friends be like?
What would you do for personal fulfillment?
What purpose would you strive for?
What would your business be?
What would you actually do for work?
What are your clients like?
What are your relationships like?
What would you do for family time?
What would you have for dinner?
What would you talk about over dinner?
What would you do at night?
Who would you do it with?
Where would you be?
Where would you do it?
What would your thoughts be as you go to sleep?

Your perfect day will help you identify who you really are, and what your core identity is.

Law of Attraction
When you have a picture on your mind of your core identity and your new life, you’ll find that things start moving you towards that: you start attracting the right circumstances, the right people and so on… This is because you are more focused on your goals as you work towards them…

What we are really aiming for is this:

experiences (because goals are meaningless); a new identity, and the sum of all this is Life.

Bless you! That's what a lot of us say when someone sneezes. And when you think about it, there's good reason to get into the habit of "blessing" things and people as you go about your day. It draws the negative charge from an annoyance or frustrating incident or person and instead puts a positive spin on things. Saying "bless it" or "bless him/her" when something upsetting happens or someone bothers you helps you put things into perspective and return to a state of balance and calm.

I like to remember the words from the early 20th century metaphysician, Emmet Fox. He said, "Bless a thing and it will bless you. Curse it and it will curse you. If you bless a situation, it has no power to hurt you, and even if it is troublesome for a time, it will gradually fade out, if you sincerely bless it."

You know, it's easy enough to start to obsess over the many little things that can go wrong in a day. Like being caught in traffic, breaking a heel on your shoe, or being subject to someone's else bad mood. Not to mention those larger problems or issues that we may have in our lives.

But instead of trying to deny the problem or worrying over it, try "blessing" it and see what happens. It will give you the space to react less emotionally and start to deal with it more constructively. Doing so also helps you to attract more of the positive things that you do want in your life. And don't forget, many of those things we first view as problems turn out to be blessings in disguise!

Namaste,

Lydia

Subject: Three Ways to Go Beyond the Secret

"I'm so fast that last night I turned off the light switch in my bedroom and was in bed before the room was dark."

This quote makes you smirk, doesn't it?

It came from the boxing legend Muhammad Ali.

I still remember the surprised crowd back in 1965. Hardly anyone would have believed that Ali would be trumping Sonny Liston after the first minute of the first round.

What made Ali special and so powerful was his belief in himself.

He knew he was going to win. He expected it.

Ali turned every bold claim he made into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Muhammad Ali was more than a boxer. He was a master manifester.

If you haven't heard about the Law of Attraction until now, Lesson 3 will explain it to you.

Have you ever wondered why all the bad things happen to the same people over and over again?

Or why certain people possess an unusual winners edge that defies the odds.

Or why your life sometimes seems stagnant and unchanging while others might soar.

In this lesson, you'll go beyond "The Secret".

I'll explain how to discover where you stand in terms of harnessing the Law of Attraction.

And I'll reveal 3 techniques that will transform the way you shape your world with your mind.

from mindhacks.org:

Learn the Traits of Attraction Masters

No matter what your heart's desire is - whether large or small - you can make it happen by following the recipe to your dreams shared by teachers of the Law of Attraction.

And it isn't as hard as you think!

You'll quickly discover the characteristics of people who have connected with the power of intention and how easy it is to start living like a master of manifestation.

What are the characterstics of successful Attraction Masters like Esther Hicks?
An important aspect to unlocking the true power of attraction for yourself, it is important to first understand that what you create and manifest; should not be influenced by others — but instead, be a compelling desire for success stemming from YOURSELF.

A quote from Jerry and Esther Hicks summarizes the kind of mental shift that you must accomplish before true Attraction happens:

In order to effect true positive change in your experience, you must disregard how things are — as well as how others are seeing you — and give more of your attention to the way you prefer things to be.

Law of Attraction

Goal-setting and asking the Universe for your desires is important, but for those of us who are uncertain of our goals should first come to terms with themselves and their desires instead.

Here’s a list of characteristics that masters of Attraction that we have observed have in common:

Reality Bending

People who have achieved Attraction mastery have an efficient view of ALL reality. They have NO fear of the unknown, and have the ability and the spontaneity to follow their intuition in order to CREATE their own realities.

Acceptance

Attraction masters have accepted that the realities that they have created in the past are of their own doings. They are responsible for what they have created and they have come to terms with it. They are fully responsible for what they manifest into their lives.

They also accept who they are. They accept that they are emotional, feeling people, and that what they want are more strongly attracted if they FEEL what they want.

The Now

Attraction masters DO NOT DWELL IN THE PAST OR THE FUTURE. They exist in the NOW. Creation happens in the present.

However, these masters understand that although that setting goals for the future and learning from their mistakes in the past is important, but they also realize that dwelling in anything other than the NOW would only bring them unnecessary worry - and in turn, attract negativity into their lives.

Change and Movement

Spontaneity and a constant desire for change and movement allow for the Attraction master to move towards the direction that the Universe guides them towards. People who are fixated with stagnancy do not attract — instead, they remain victimized by the lack of change that enters their lives.

“I can’t get no Sa-Tis-Fac-Tion”, screamed Mick Jagger. It rings more true for the Law of Attraction.

Having Fun!

Creation is incredibly fun! Masters who have achieved understanding of the Law of Attraction are ecstatically happy people who are more than happy to share their abundance of happiness. Enligtenment and the understanding of Attraction brings infectious joy and laughter to those who truly understand it.

Some of our favorite attraction masters such as Esther Hicks, excude these characteristics all the time.

In Esther and Jerry Hick’s Book, The Law of Attraction, widely featured in the original version of The Secret, describes a process to improve the manifestation process through ’segmenting’ life in stages and intending the things that you desire at a smaller scale in order to achieve the BIG goals.

Breaking up the big goals into smaller goals make them easier to achieve. Having successfully accomplished a smaller goal also adds to motivates to accomplish other goals as well. Its a great cycle of success!

Here’s a great visualization trick in order to experience and hold on the emotions of HAVING WHAT I WANT, and in turn use to improve and accelerate the process of segment intending.

Step 1: Identify the Segment

First identify the segment of your life that you will be entering.

For example:

It’s Monday morning after a relaxing weekend and a potential client is expecting to meet you for a presentation on an important project. You are riding the elevator up to her office and even though have already rehearsed the presentation, feel a little nervous about the meeting.

Step 2: Enter the Space

Close your eyes and visualize a space which you feel most comfortable in. I usually imagine my dream house, a lovely beach-front cottage on a breezy Sunset. The space that you choose to visualize yourself in must bring you a sense of calm and overwhelming joy to be in.

Experience how it feels to be in this space and prepare yourself to do a little work.

Step 3: What do you want from the Segment

While in your space, ask yourself what you want from this Segment.

For example (based on the above):

I want to give a flawless presentation.
I want a signed contract from a happy, grateful, and optimistic client.

Now that you have identified what you want, we must deliberately intend it to happen…

Step 4: Visualize and Experience what you want

In your space, imagine the events of your desires as reality. For example, the feeling of giving a flawless presentation and how confident and clear it was. Or what it feel like as a client signs on the contract and gives you a warm handshake.

Experience the emotions that you would feel as you visualize this. And as much as possible, experience the emotions right down to the smallest detail.

Experience how these emotions affects you physically as well, once again to the smallest detail. How do your hands feel? Are they warm? How does your stomach feel? Are there butterflies?

How does feel to HAVE what you WANT?

Step 5: ALLOW it and BEGIN THE SEGMENT!

Now, fully experiencing these emotions, consciously submit your request to the Universe; ALLOW your manifestation happen whole-heartedly.

Open your eyes - and begin living the Segment as you WANT and HAVE. And what you visualize will surely come to you as much as your heart desires.

From the mindhacks.org blog archives, here's an excerpt of John Lake's comment on the revised version of 'The Secret' by Rhonda Byrne which has now edited out Esther Hicks in the film. The post also presents Oprah Winfrey's audio interview with Esther Hicks. I have listened to the audio and can empathize with Esther on feeling left out, but appreciate even more the way she has responded in such a graceful and positive way. After all it's really about the message and understanding the Law of Attraction and not about who really got the word out first. Esther has benefited as well from the exposure and published 'The Law of Attraction' which is the next step once people learn about 'The Secret'...read on:

April 10, 2007

I think Rhonda Byrne and her crew are wonderfully good people and they have performed a great service to the world by packaging the Secret in such a way that the world was ready to wake up to it. Even Esther Hicks - on her website, mentions that there is no ill will. Although Esther does say - she felt she and her husband were “drawn in, utilized and then discarded”.

But it is a shame to see the Secret cut out Esther - both from the film and from her share of the revenue pie.

The fact should not be hidden from the public. Ester Hicks’ book is clearly the motivator for Rhonda’s film. And you should go out and BUY that book.

I would give the book “The Secret” a rating of 3 out of 5.
But I would give Ester Hicks’s “Law of Attraction” a 5 out of 5.

Read both books and judge for yourself. One feels like spiritual truth - the other like modern-day pop-culture psychology.

Esther Hicks is truly one of the greatest teachers I have come across (along with Jose Silva, Neale Donald Walsch and Bob Proctor).

Thank You Esther!

Now About Oprah’s Interview with Esther Hicks:

In the interview Ester discusses how she met Rhonda Byrne of the Secret, how she and her husband met Jane Roberts of the Seth Book, and how she later learned to channel Abraham and wrote Ask And It is Given and The Law of Attraction.

There are 2 parts and you can listen to them from the link below:

Hi Lydia,

Of all the things I write about, one of the subjects that gets as much attention as anything else is how I close my emails...

"I love you all"

Yeah...

I don't know exactly the moment that I decided to close all my newsletters with that.  It was a few years ago.  I guess it came simply from a building appreciation for everything you my subscribers give to me.

So one day it was a spontaneous outpouring of what I had been feeling for a long time.

Life is like that...

When you continually give and give and give of yourself, the world gives back to you, one way or another.

It might not be much or it might be a windfall of gratitude and lavish rewards.

In my life, when I decided to dedicate myself to serving as many people as possible through my now remarkably popular Think Right Now Accelerated Thought and Behavior Modification
Programs, I've both given and received more than I ever dreamed was possible.

It's the hardest work I've ever done and the most rewarding in all ways possible.

An example of the Law of Attraction at work.

Just a word of caution...

If you feel that you have done nothing but give and give and have been wondering when you are going to start receiving, you are missing the magic.  I felt that way, too, for years.

Because living a life of "service" and doing the best you know how may mean that you "get" a lot of outer success or rewards...

But it may not.

Knowing how to "play the game," how to "sell yourself" are important, too.

And dumb luck is always a part of the game of life...

And there is being in the right place at the right time, having friends in high places, having the right look, knowing the one thing others don't...

Those kinds of things are always helpful.

We all have our own unique skills and talents.

For example, today I was talking to someone who is a great writer.

He admitted he can't even wash his own clothes.

But he makes a handsome living with the power of his pen.

So he doesn't HAVE to wash his own clothes!

Point is, you have to develop your natural talents.  You have plenty of them, no doubt.  Find them and grow them.  Nurture them.  Don't settle for mediocrity.  There is little joy in that.

Develop yourself.  Stretch yourself.

Stretch your talents every day and you, too, will live gratefully.

Yes, if you notice on a moment-by-moment basis every day everything you can that is good and right and even terrific in your life, the not so good, bad and downright horrible won't derail you on your path to a great life.

And so you will be happier more often and sadness will rarely overtake you.

So to everyone, a simple thank you for allowing me to develop my unique talents and give them to the world.

So yes...

I love you all!

Mike Brescia

P.S.  If this sounds too sappy or pie in the sky, if you know that life sucks and that's all there is to it, if you think you have problems that no one else can understand and certainly ones that can't be helped, then you really gotta get over to - http://www.thinkrightnow.com right now.

Energy Share for Sunday
February 18, 2007

Begin this moment describing what you want your life to be - not as it is now. Look at that description everyday. Then ask, "What step can I take to bring this into manifestation?" This is not about magical thinking, or any 'airy-fairy' concepts, or even positive thinking. It's affirmative realization through right action. So you are to create a practice you do every day until it becomes so much a part of you that you don't even think about it consciously anymore. These principles are the way the Universe is moving - whether you know it or not. The key is understanding that these laws are true. Action and energy following the thinking. Ernest Holmes once said, "Wouldn't it be wonderful if a group of people arrived on Earth that were for something and against nothing?" Speak about what you are for and move in that direction.

The principles are not about acquisition. It's not about getting. It's about letting. It's about allowing the energy to come forward, allowing the gifts to emerge, and allowing the expression of your real self.

You can struggle against the current of your life or you can figure out what the current is. You can turn around and carry the flow from one level to find your flow at the highest level. You don't have to struggle. If you're struggling, you're moving in the wrong direction; you're blocking the flow.

Remember that there really isn't scarcity in the Universe. But the thought form of scarcity creates competition, greed, envy, jealousy, and on a national scale - war. When you look out upon the world and see what look like different events - they are actually all connected by the thought form of lack and scarcity which does not exist.

There is the seed of truth within us that resonates whether we can consciously grasp it or not. And here is something you know: Life is not meant to be a struggle. Every great teacher, sage, and saint who has walked the planet has said this in one way, shape or fashion.

Life was meant to be joyously abundant. There is a part of you that says, "I know that." That's what is sometimes called the 'Aha!' moment - a moment of recognizing the truth.

Remembering that that's what you always knew.

Let's all welcome Silvia Weisz who hails from Melbourne, Australia. Aloha kakou, my friend. And, in honor of our friends in Australia, I've posted some pics from Veronica in the Queensland area. Please join me in celebrating more rain for the folks out there and in the southern parts. And, like the famous Gene Kelly, I'll be "Singin' in the rain"....What a wonderful feeling, I'm happy again.

For anyone who missed Oprah's talk show last week, I've posted the transcript about 'The Secret' video. Although it's really not a secret, and one that we all know and love, the Law of Attraction is finally front and center and on the lips of nearly every person in the country. Including my own 2 cents about spiritual laws and building confidence.

Drawing on the energies of this beautifully warm day in sunny, southern California, I send out a radiant boost of energy to you with LOTS of aloha, light, and hugs. Help yourself to the boost I send to you and enjoy it fully. With heartfelt gratitude, I thank you for being a part of this energy share. I joyfully acknowledge the boost of energy from you and welcome it with open arms.

Enjoy every moment and live the passionate life you intend it to be.

a hui hou (Until we meet again),

The Secret on Oprah

It looks like the “Law of Attraction” is finally becoming a household word. On Thursday, February 8, Oprah, the queen of talk-shows, interviewed select cast members from the hit documentary film, 'The Secret'.

For those of you living in a closet the last few months - the Secret is a phenomenal movie that interviews key authors, speakers and lecturers about the Law of Attraction - the idea that everything you think about comes into your life, good or bad. It’s become a motivational force for millions and is spreading like wild-fire across the globe.

Below is the Full Transcript of the Oprah Show

People around the world have been talking about a movie so powerful that it can change the course of your life. This movie, 'The Secret', was created by Australian Rhonda Byrne, and she says that if you follow its philosophy, you can create the life you want — whether that means getting out of debt, finding a more fulfilling job or even falling in love.

Rhonda says she stumbled on what she calls The Secret at the end of 2004. At the time, everything in Rhonda’s life had fallen apart — physically, emotionally and financially — and she was in “total despair". Then her father died suddenly, and she was worried about her grief-stricken mother. “I wept and wept and wept, and I didn’t want my daughter to see me sobbing,” Rhonda says.

That’s when Rhonda’s daughter gave her a copy of The Science of Getting Rich, a book written in 1910 by Wallace D. Wattles. “Something inside of me had me turn the pages one by one, and I can still remember my tears hitting the pages as I was reading it,” Rhonda says. “It gave me a glimpse of The Secret. It was like a flame inside of my heart. And with every day since, it’s just become a raging fire of wanting to share all of this with the world.”

After that first discovery, Rhonda read hundreds of books, listened to hundreds of hours of audio tapes and scoured the Internet for more information. She says she traced the idea of The Secret through history—all the way from 3500 B.C. to the present day. “Since I discovered The Secret, every single moment of my entire life has changed, and I am living my life for the first time,” Rhonda says.

Rhonda defines The Secret as the law of attraction, which is the principle that “like attracts like.” Rhonda calls it “the most powerful law in the universe,” and says it is working all the time. “What we do is we attract into our lives the things we want, and that is based on what we’re thinking and feeling,” Rhonda says. The principle explains that we create our own circumstances by the choices we make in life. And the choices we make are fueled by our thoughts—which means our thoughts are the most powerful things we have here on earth.

To help teach the philosophy, Rhonda created the dvd 'The Secret', which features experts including the Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith, James Arthur Ray, Lisa Nichols and Jack Canfield — who not only teach other people about 'The Secret', but say they are successful in their own lives because they know and use the principle.

The Experts

Left: The cast of Experts Discuss 'The Secret' on Oprah

The Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith says he was a drug dealer in college — until he was arrested in a deal gone bad. Michael says he had a spiritual awakening during his trial and decided to turn his life around. Today he leads the Agape Spiritual Center in Los Angeles, where he teaches thousands of faithful followers the path to reaching their highest potential.

James Arthur Ray was insecure and awkward as a teenager until weight lifting helped the self-described geek gain confidence in his 20s. He says that surviving a near-fatal motorcycle crash and almost going bankrupt forced him to focus on the life he truly wanted. Now he runs a multimillion-dollar corporation dedicated to teaching people how to create wealth in all areas of their lives.

Lisa Nichols grew up on the tough streets of South Central Los Angeles. She admits that as a self-conscious teenager, she often used sex to feel loved by men. After hitting rock bottom at age 19, Lisa prayed for a better life. Now, she has made her fortune by motivating more than 60,000 teenagers to make better choices in their own lives.

Chicken Soup for the Soul creator Jack Canfield was deep in debt before he made it big. Now his best-selling books have sold more than 100 million copies worldwide, and Jack travels the country teaching the secret of his success.

The Law of Attraction means that everything that happens to you — good or bad —you attract to yourself. Lisa describes it as if you’re placing an order. “If you were at a restaurant and you ordered something, you fully expect it to come served that way. That’s how the universe is. You’re putting out orders — consciously and unconsciously,” Lisa says. “So if you say, ‘I’ll never have a great relationship,’ you just placed an order.”

Jack says everything you focus on can have an effect on your life—from books to magazines to thoughts. “All of that affects how we feel, and the feelings actually send out a wave into the universe, and anything that’s vibrating in a similar level gets attracted into our life,” Jack says.

“Most people focus on how it is. We talk about our current reality — ’I'm in debt. I’m overweight. I’m not happy. I’m sad. The world’s not working. We’re at war,’ whatever. And the more you think about that and focus on that and talk about it, the more you attract that [negativity],” he says.

Three for three

Although thoughts are powerful, Jack says the feelings that the thoughts generate are what actually attract things into our lives. “Too many times people are thinking a thought like, ‘I want to be my perfect body weight of 185 pounds.’ But they look at the scale and they see 205 and they think, ‘But I’ll never make it,’ … so they feel bad,” Jack says. Instead of wallowing in those negative thoughts, you need to find the positive in the situation. Jack says you should stop feeling bad about the weight, and instead feel positive that you are willing to do something healthy to make your life better. Carrying with you those positive feelings is one key to your success.

James says that in order to attract the things you want into your life—to place the right order — you have to do what he calls going “three for three.” “Your thoughts, your feelings and your actions all have to be firing simultaneously in the same direction,” he says. Visualizing your future life can help to hone your thoughts and feelings toward the things you want.

The panel says the thoughts and the feelings are often easy for people to grasp, but you still have to do something about them. “A lot of people watch The Secret and they say, ‘Well, I’m sitting around visualizing my millions coming into my lap.’ Well, they’ll come take your furniture away. And then how are you going to visualize [when you’re living] on the curb?” James says. “You’ve got to act on it. Make decisions on where you’re going versus where you have been.”

Taking Control of Your Destiny

Jack says that everything in the world is made up of energy, which is controlled by thoughts and feelings. According to Jack, thoughts can travel long distances, so you are sending out signals to many people without even knowing it, and these signals attract like energy to you.

Jack and James say that this means there is no such thing as a coincidence. “Everything happens by principles and laws in our universe. And so consequently, we have an absolutely unlimited power within us,” James says.

Michael says that thoughts — which turn into experience, speech and behavior — become the “feeling tone of your life.” “An individual can actually begin to generate a certain feeling of gratitude, of love, of peace and of harmony, and the universe will begin to match that feeling tone — and what will flow into your life will match the feeling that you’re holding,” he says. “It means that everyone…can release themselves from being a victim and begin to take control of their life’s destiny.”

The Gratitude Conveyor Belt

Gratitude is one example of the magnetic force of the universe. “Basically, nothing new can come into your life unless you open yourself up to being grateful [for what you already have],” Michael says.

“If you think about it, the universe has a conveyor belt of presents lined up for you, and until you receive the one and fully are grateful for it, the next one can’t come out of the chute. It’s all lined up,” Jack says.

Lisa says this perspective applies to weight, family, friends and other aspects of life. She says too many people who want to make things better focus on what’s wrong with the present. “Instead of wanting to change it, appreciate what’s there,” Lisa says. “Find the things about it that work … and by doing that, you create a space for it to get better.”

For example, Lisa says she would like to lose some weight. But instead of focusing on the negative — that she hasn’t dropped the pounds yet — she loves and appreciates the present moment. “I accept it. I love it. I embrace every inch, every pound,” she says. In this way, Lisa is creating the space to “celebrate the now” and then invite better things into her life.

The Conscious Versus the Unconscious

According to the panel members, much of the energy that people project into the world is done unconsciously. “People aren’t walking around thinking, ‘I want a bad thing to happen to me,’ but there’s an unconscious fear. There’s a doubt. There’s a worry. There’s a sense of separation there that’s running them,” Michael says. He adds that spiritual growth is “allowing that which is unconscious to become conscious.”

Michael says that spiritual growth does not mean religion but our “real identity.” “The love, the peace, the joy, the wisdom, the harmony—these are all qualities of the spirit that it’s seeking to express through us,” Michael says. “And so as we become more awake, more aware of that, our life is filled with that kind of vibration, that kind of feeling tone. To grow spiritually is to actually become more aware of who you really are.”

Using The Secret to Improve Dire Financial Straits

Ryan Bell (below), a single mother of a 4-year-old, is currently $43,000 in debt. “I’m just in over my head,” she says.

Ryan says her financial woes started back in college when she took out loans. After college, Ryan got a job, got pregnant and got married. To cope with the new bills, the couple opened more credit cards, and Ryan helped put her husband through school. Then the unthinkable happened: She and her husband got divorced—and Ryan’s debt worsened. “I went from living on two incomes to living on one income, but I kept the same bills,” Ryan says.

To support herself and her daughter, Ryan works long hours at a high-end clothing store. After her daughter goes to bed, Ryan works at her second job, a home-based Internet business. “It could be huge, but I can’t spend the amount of time on it that I need to to make it successful,” she says.

Now, Ryan sees every day as a struggle and won’t even go to the mailbox because she knows there are bills waiting for her. “I’m sick and tired of being a victim,” Ryan says. “How do I get out of this endless cycle of debt?”

Achieving Financial Freedom

Ryan’s choices have attracted debt to her, the panel says. To attract a solution, Jack says Ryan should turn her focus from her debt to what she knows her life will be like when she’s financially free.

Simply changing her language can also start to make a dent in her debt. When asked how she is, Lisa says she shouldn’t respond with phrases like “I’m surviving.” “That’s not the kind of life you want to live,” Lisa says. “When people ask me how I’m doing, [I say], ‘I’m phenomenal. I’m great’. Even in the midst of all—I’m great,” she says. “I’m great because I made it through.”

James, especially, can relate to Ryan’s troubles, having been on the edge of bankruptcy twice himself. He urges Ryan to take an “action step” toward her dreams. For Ryan, that’s starting a debt retirement program to pay a certain amount of money toward her credit automatically so she can focus every bit of energy on financial freedom.

Still, the most important stride toward a debt-free life, Michael says, is forgiving her ex-husband and to stop feeling like he owes her something. “Let him know in consciousness, in your awareness, that he cannot determine your destiny. You’re not leaving him unaccountable, but you’re severing those emotional vibratory tonalities so that you can be free.”

How Do You Forgive?

True forgiveness, James says, is when you can say the following to the person who hurt you: “Thank you for giving me that experience.”

But how can you forgive when something truly tragic or terrible happens? James says you should grieve, but eventually you need to look for a hidden gift. “Here’s what I encourage people to ask themselves: How does this serve me? … If you’re really willing to dig, there’s a lesson in there,” James says. “And secondly, what can I learn from this situation?”

Even if you can’t identify the gift now, Rhonda says to remain positive in order to benefit from of the Law of Attraction. “You can say, ‘There are so many gifts in this for me. I can’t wait to see what they are,’” Rhonda says.

In chronic situations with no end in sight, Michael says you should ask yourself another important question: “If this were to last forever, what quality would I have to grow to have peace of mind? Now, as my attention goes to the quality I have to grow, that quality starts to emerge,” Michael says. “The issue that I’m resisting and fighting against becomes less and less intense … it begins to dissolve because it doesn’t have your attention any longer.”

Lisa’s struggles

Panel member Lisa Nichols says her life was spiraling out of control before she learned The Secret. She grew up in South Central Los Angeles, where there were gangs, poverty and violence.

In fifth grade, Lisa was in the first class to be bused to the Valley—a predominantly white neighborhood—where she thought she would be welcomed. Instead, she was met with name-calling. “My self-esteem went way down,” she says.

Although she eventually became a popular student, Lisa struggled with depression. “At 17, when my best friends were thinking what college to go to, UCLA or USC, I was contemplating suicide and trying to figure out how to do it without getting blood on my mother’s carpet because I knew they couldn’t afford to move,” she says.

Growing up, Lisa was also told that she wasn’t pretty and wouldn’t find love. She began having “a lot of sex looking for a little love,” searching for her own validation in men. “The sex led to a lot of pain. I thought if I was saying no to the sex, I was saying no to potential love. And I didn’t want to say no to love.”

Lisa began to gain weight in order to avoid men altogether. After gaining 100 pounds, Lisa says she was obese and embarrassed.

Lisa’s turning point

Finally, Lisa reached a turning point. “I got on my knees and I said, ‘God, if you bring me through this … I promise I will spend every moment, every breath, supporting and encouraging others to do the same,’” she says.

Lisa decided to stop being a victim. She stopped looking for love elsewhere and fell “madly in love” with herself. Now, she teaches people how to treat her. “I’m the first example of how the world is supposed to love me and I have to give them the best example ever,” she says. “We expect someone to show us our greatness when [instead] I’m supposed to show up understanding my greatness and allowing you to celebrate it with me.”

The Secret of a Marriage

After 16 years of marriage, Carlton and Beverly Credelle say the passion in their marriage had fizzled. “It just felt as though our life was just mundane, really passionless, almost emotionless,” Beverly says. “Like I didn’t have his mind anymore, his soul, his heart.” At one point, the couple hadn’t been intimate in a year.

Then, Beverly watched The Secret. “For the record, I’ve seen it 62 times. But the first time is when that lightbulb went off,” she says. Beverly realized she was part of the problem. She stopped complaining and began to focus on her gratitude for Carlton. “I started telling myself, ‘I am beautiful. I do deserve passion. I am in a passion-filled marriage.’”

Things changed immediately after Carlton also watched the DVD. Soon, he started making romantic gestures, like taking Beverly out for lunch dates and calling her during the day. She began doing little things for him, too — leaving him a rose in his car and surprising him with his favorite cookies.

Michael says Carlton and Beverly are an example of how gratitude brings about change. “My marriage now is wonderful,” Carlton says. “I feel the passion. I’m loving it.”

The Secret to Losing Weight

Launell is successful in all areas of her life—except when it comes to taking off the baby weight she started gaining 14 years ago.

The first step, James says, is to be grateful for her health and choose to stay healthy and whole. “I want you to start every single day … saying, ‘Thank you for the health I have.’ Say, ‘I love my legs because they’re working functionally,’” James says. “Concentrate on your health and wholeness every day, and you’ll attract more health and wholeness every day.”

Lisa says Launell also has to believe she has the right to have the body she wants. “Make a decision. Do you have the right? Are you ready for it? Are you ready to look in the mirror and love every inch?” Lisa says. “Make 2007 about showing up in the now for you,” Lisa says.

Repeating after Lisa, Launell declares, “I choose today to give myself the best life ever!”

How To Start Living The Secret Today

You can start living the The Secret today by following three simple steps: Ask. Believe. Receive.

Michael says to start making a conscious effort every day to take actions that will sync with the energy of the life you dream about. “When you’re talking about action, you’re talking about walking in the direction you want,” Michael says.

But not just any action will do, James says. It has to be one that comes from the heart and will provide a real service. “It’s not, ‘If you build it, they will come,’ necessarily. It’s, ‘If you build it and it provides value, they will come,’” he says. “It’s that heart space. Not ‘What can I get?’ but ‘What can I give and how can I serve?’ And when you’re in that moment, the universe lines up behind you and it’s at your command.”
