THANKSGIVING DAY CELEBRATION

What am I most thankful for? It's the everyday things, of course...family, friends, good health, good weather, the beauty of nature, Nate Berkus, tea and chocolate!!!  Enjoy the day, this lovely video, and my music choice of Susan Boyle...

What we're really talking about
is a wonderful day set aside
on the fourth Thursday of November
when no one diets.
I mean, why else would they call it Thanksgiving?
~Erma Bombeck, "No One Diets on Thanksgiving,"
26 November 1981

As we express our gratitude,
we must never forget that the highest appreciation
is not to utter words,
but to live by them.
~John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Remember God's bounty in the year.
String the pearls of His favor.
Hide the dark parts, except so far as they are breaking out in light!
Give this one day to thanks, to joy, to gratitude!
~Henry Ward Beecher

Thanksgiving Day comes,
by statute, once a year;
to the honest man it comes
as frequently as the heart of gratitude will allow.

~Edward Sandford Martin

Our rural ancestors, with little blest,
Patient of labour when the end was rest,
Indulged the day that housed their annual grain,
With feasts, and off'rings, and a thankful strain.
~Alexander Pope

Energy Share for Sunday
June 20, 2010

Music / Kitaro / Full Moon / Video Credits / ESA Hubble / Text / Rab Adamson

Today I send you an energy boost to remind us all of the infinite wisdom that lies within. Let us allow this wisdom to guide us along our journey to move forward confidently. I share the boost embedded in the video with you in a spirit of unity, unconditional love and strength of character to free yourself of drama and conflict.

I welcome and embrace the energy boost from you so that I may do the same and gratefully acknowledge your part in the share. Thank you for all you do as healers, teachers and friends. By the way, I also post the energy share on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, so Join Me there, if you haven't already.

Enjoy the previous posts, and Happy Father's Day for all near and far. We got to celebrate with a midday brunch at an IHOP in downtown Riverside. The day started off with a little adventure when the first IHOP we went to had an emergency shutdown due to a kitchen fire...whew! Glad we had just sat down and hadn't ordered yet.

Remember to be present in every moment and live the passionate life you intend it to be.

Aloha pumehana (with blessings, love and affection)!

So pass on the inspiration to those you meet along the way, help them to remember and recognize the beauty of their spirit and the joy of unity amongst our diversity.

I welcome and embrace the energy boost from you, my friends, and gratefully acknowledge your part in the share. Thank you for all you do as healers, teachers and friends.

Easter holiday, is a celebration of the resurrection of Christ!

This Spring day's celebrated, generally in the month of April.
All of the bright and pretty colors, of the Easter outfits with frills.
Women and children will wear their Easter bonnets.
In the Spring, you'll hear the various musical sonnets.

April will bring many rain showers.
That'll bring us various beautiful flowers.

One special flower for this day is the Easter Lily.
It's color is white, and yet snowy & milky.

The birds will sing their songs of praise.
As we begin to feel the warmth of the sun's rays.

As we say "Goodbye" to the winter's gloom,
The flowers and trees have already begun to bloom.

All of life's beauty, The Lord created, for us all to share.
Spring breezes begin to flow, sending fragrances through the air.

The winter's thawing will let the rivers, lakes, and streams rise and flow.
The beauty of the Earth will make us all feel aglow!

Farmers and gardeners will start to hoe.
And then they'll begin to sow.

On Sundays, we'll hear the various church bells ring.

Let's be grateful for the LORD, let's rejoice and sing

Thank you so much for being a part of the share, your continued participation and support are what makes this group possible. Let the images of the slideshow, celebrating Easter and birthdays with family and friends, inspire a sense of connection and unity.

Enjoy every moment and live the passionate life you intend it to be.

Aloha pumehana (with blessings, love and affection)!

Take a moment today to receive this energy boost.  Let it help you recharge and rejuvenate. Let it help you find the spiritual solution to every problem and remember the truth of who you are.  I gratefully embrace the boost from you.

Sorry for the delay in getting the post up...just chalk it up to the vile pc gremlin named 'Glitch' and his Trojan hoarde.

I hope you had a joyous thanksgiving celebration.  I am thankful for the abundance of food provided to us at every meal and especially for the holiday season.  Of course, it doesn't hurt that my family and relatives are phenomenal cooks and bakers... The feast and our loved ones reminds us of the wealth of riches and circulating energy we receive and give each day and throughout the world.  The rain we got this past weekend was also a blessing for our drought-ridden areas and perfect for cozying at home - afternoon naps, holiday movies, karaoke...

Thank you for all you do as healers and friends.  Enjoy the passionate life that you intend it to be.

Aloha pumehana (with blessings, love and affection)!

Snoopy Thanksgiving Pictures, Images and Photos

I Am Thankful

I am thankful for pets.
I am thankful for school.
I am thankful when I
Can swim in a pool.

I am thankful for home,
And the food that I eat.
I am thankful for all
The new friends that I meet.

I am thankful for health,
And for my family
I'm especially thankful
That I am just ME!

For my mother who passed away in 1985 after many years of chronic illness. May she always travel freely and peacefully with our loved ones to quiet shores.

Mothers Who are No Longer Among Us
These are in memory of my own dear mother who passed away in the autumn of the year 2000. She is still deeply missed.

In tears we saw you sinking,
And watched you pass away.
Our hearts were almost broken,
We wanted you to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping,
So peaceful, free from pain,
How could we wish you back with us,
To suffer that again.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.

If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.

Don't think of her as gone away
Her journey's just begun
Life holds so many facets
This earth is only one
Just think of her as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years
Think how she must be wishing
That we could know, today
Now nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away
And think of her as living
In the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And she is loved so very much.

Energy Share for Sunday
April 12, 2009

Easter is not a time for groping through dusty, musty tomes or tombs to disprove spontaneous generation or even to prove life eternal.

It is a day to fan the ashes of dead hope, a day to banish doubts and seek the slopes where the sun is rising, to revel in the faith which transports us out of ourselves and the dead past into the vast and inviting unknown.

Author Unknown

Happy Easter! This weekend we're celebrating the occasion of our birthdays and Easter. It's a time of new beginnings for some of our cousins who are moving on to Guam as well as returning home for a brief respite from a military tour of duty. A time to rise above and heal beyond pain and suffering, to reconnect with love, joy, and anticipation of all the blessings to come.

So this inspired me to send to you a boost of energy that is the energy of birth, rebirth and new beginnings. Take a moment to accept this boost of energy and let it flow through you. Call it down as much as you like this week. I gratefully acknowledge the boost from you with open arms and a joyful heart. Let us remember to have love and compassion for ourselves as well as for others.

Enjoy every moment and live the passionate life you intend it to be. Enjoy the previous posts...thanks for the comments on the Easter slideshow.

Namaste (Let us honor the love and peace within each other),
