My Birthday Reflections

Your birthday's a time for careful reflection
About your life, and its future direction.

You see where you've been when you look at the past;
Most of it's great; you had quite a blast!

You wonder what's coming, what life has in store;
Will it be just the same? Will there be a new door?

Remember this, as you blow out the last candle:
Life holds no challenge that you cannot handle.

Energy Share for Sunday January 30th

The one change we cannot change is change itself.
No moment, however perfect, can be maintained.
Life moves on and moves on and moves us with it.

We are all works in progress, all developing parts of a perfect plan.
Only as we surrender to change can we find permanence and peace.
Only by being open to the fierce flow of life can we find the steadying current.
The one thing that remains the same is that nothing remains the same.
As we accept and acknowledge life's passing nature,
we are freed to cherish the moments that pass in bittersweet glory.

No matter how difficult, life is beautiful.
No matter how beautiful, life is difficult.

This is the great paradox that opens the heart and brings compassion.
We are all travelers on the vast and shifting sands of time.
We are all inconsequential and important, very small and very large.
Our transitions are like octaves building brilliantly upon each other.
We are life's music, so let us dance.

Today, I sing the song of change. I celebrate each moment as it passes.
Today, I am a syllable of time and my voice is heard.

Julia Cameron

Today, I send a heartfelt boost of joy and gratitude to share in this moment. And by openly embracing the energy shared with you, I receive it with heartfelt thanks. As we recall the learned wisdom of our past in anticipation of our collective future, let us live in this moment together with awareness, acceptance, and creative intention.

Namaste, (I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells),

What birds fly through is not intimate space
in which a form arises.
In the open air you would be dispossessed of yourself
forever.

Space extends out from us and connects to a thing.
To effect the presence of a tree
put innerspace around it
from the pure space that is in you.

Surround it with restraint.
It has no limits.
Only in the containment of your renouncing
will it truly be a tree.

- Rainer Maria Rilke

With all the rainfall that has showered down this past week in an area of normally desert-like conditions, I send to you a boost of rejuvenating energy that water brings. Water that offers relief, quenches thirst, that cleanses and uplifts our spirits. Let the sight and sound of rain transport you to that quiet place within you. And when you are ready, pass it on in any way that you like.

Healers are sorely needed in this day and age and this share is dedicated to all of you that give of yourselves each and every day. Thank you for all that you do.

As above and so below, I share with you all that I know. As each day passes, the more we grow, and once again with wisdom we sow. I shall never forget you in my heart and especially when times are dark. So let us go hand-in-hand into the light.  And always be happy to sing, dance, and fly...!!

The world is a forest of verdant possibility.
No one person controls my happiness.
No one person is the source of my joy.
I am rooted in universal flow.

My needs for love and affection are met by many sources.
I am blessed by the ability to receive love through many channels.
I open my heart to the love that is offered to me by multiple sources.
My heart is a mountain meadow fed by many streams.

Today, I practice receptivity to loving forces.
At any moment, a divinely inspired intersection may occur.
I accept the good which flows to me from many sides.

by Julia Cameron

Today I send to you a boost - to lift you up and be open to possibility, remembering all that inspires you to breathe, to move, to live every day.  Like walking on clouds, let yourself be light, free of worry, drama and restriction. Let yourself be at peace, resonating with the harmony that exists within yourself, with everyone, and everything.  And let this knowing be a gift that puts a smile on your face every day.

When you are ready, send out a boost of energy to the group in whatever shape or form you choose.  I joyfully embrace the boost from you with open arms, letting it carry me aloft into the sky.

With heartfelt gratitude, I thank you for being a part of this energy share.  It's another awesome thing on my gratitude list and reason to celebrate this Thanksgiving weekend.  Let us celebrate every moment and live our lives with passion.

THANKSGIVING DAY CELEBRATION

What am I most thankful for? It's the everyday things, of course...family, friends, good health, good weather, the beauty of nature, Nate Berkus, tea and chocolate!!!  Enjoy the day, this lovely video, and my music choice of Susan Boyle...

What we're really talking about
is a wonderful day set aside
on the fourth Thursday of November
when no one diets.
I mean, why else would they call it Thanksgiving?
~Erma Bombeck, "No One Diets on Thanksgiving,"
26 November 1981

As we express our gratitude,
we must never forget that the highest appreciation
is not to utter words,
but to live by them.
~John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Remember God's bounty in the year.
String the pearls of His favor.
Hide the dark parts, except so far as they are breaking out in light!
Give this one day to thanks, to joy, to gratitude!
~Henry Ward Beecher

Thanksgiving Day comes,
by statute, once a year;
to the honest man it comes
as frequently as the heart of gratitude will allow.

~Edward Sandford Martin

Our rural ancestors, with little blest,
Patient of labour when the end was rest,
Indulged the day that housed their annual grain,
With feasts, and off'rings, and a thankful strain.
~Alexander Pope

FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON

Don't Save It All - Celine Dion

Another one I fell in love with...the words mean so much. Why not have compassion and love for others every day? Love is meant to be shared.   When it is, love expands, enriches and encompasses all, not just for the giver and receiver. And we are all the wealthier for it.  You can get the CD/DVD collection... These Are Special Times (W/Dvd) (Coll)

Energy Share for Sunday
October 24, 2010

Unity charges all of life.
One energy connects us all, linking us soul to soul and heart to heart.
At any time, in any place, I can go within and feel my connection to all of life.
As spiritual beings, we are vast and mysterious.
The heart is generous and capacious.
The heart is far-reaching and all-inclusive.
The heart can contain far-flung loves.
The heart can love despite geography.

Today, my heart holds all my beloveds close despite the distance between us. Today my heart is full of connections, alive with the knowledge of the
tender web which holds us all in its embrace.

-Julia Cameron,
'Transitions: Prayers and Declarations for a Changing Life'

Today I've sent the energy boost to give you strength to weather any storm, to give you lightness of spirit to float above the darkness, and clarity of vision to find that soft place to land. Let it fill you with joy, love and laughter, with many sudden urges to heal someone with your smiles and hugs. Who doesn't need one these days? The boost will be there for as long and as much as you need it.

I gratefully acknowledge the boost of energy from you and welcome it with open arms. Thanks so much for all you do as friends and healers, especially with your presence and support in this energy share.

Enjoy every moment and live the passionate life you intend it to be.

Aloha pumehana (with love, blessings, and affection),

Go To Sleep

Go to sleep little one
Close your eyes
And dream a thousand dreams
Full of flowers and stars
And teddys
And doggies
And kitties
And fishies

Go to sleep little one
Close your eyes
And dream a thousand dreams
Dream of planes
Of boats
Of beep-beep cars
And choo-choo trains

Go to sleep little one
Close your eyes
And hold on tight!

Today I place an energy boost within the video and share with you a sense of peace and quiet in your thoughts, with those around you and throughout the world. When your days are so filled with unsettling, stressful moments, take time to get quiet, get restful, and just breathe. Breathe slowly, deeply, and listen to the quiet stillness between breaths.  Let your days now be filled with balance, calmness, and resilience.  I gratefully acknowledge the boost from you and honor your awesome spirit.

Thanks so much for all you do as friends and healers, and please enjoy the previous posts.

Until then, enjoy every moment and live the passionate life you intend it to be.

I'm sure the day my doctor decided to visit the monastery he hadn't the slightest thought that the prior would throw him into the swimming pool. He stood with his nobility firmly in place at the beginning of the party, but when his wife was nudged into the water by a clumsy brother passing by, he may have begun to change his mind about what a monastery was.

Superficial solemnity, thankfully, was never part of my experience of the life. I have always favored the kind of spiritual involvement that begets rather than kills earthy humor and even ribaldry. The perspective of divinity can be defined as all that is contrary to human intention and dignified expectation.

We know we are moving more deeply into the spirit when we notice the presence in us of holy foolishness. And who is to say that this was not a case of baptismal renewal!

Thomas Moore, "Meditations: On the Monk Who Dwells in Daily Life"

Today I place an energy boost within the video and share with you a chance to be relieved of all the seriousness and drama in your thoughts, in your environment and around the world. To have a few moments to just be silly and dance all your worries away. Find the humor in everyday life; there is comedy to be found in every situation, no matter how mundane. And just laugh it off. I gratefully acknowledge the boost from you and honor your awesome spirit. Feel free to share a joke or two.

Thanks so much for all you do as friends and healers, and please enjoy the previous posts.

Until then, enjoy every moment and live the passionate life you intend it to be.

Aloha pumehana (with love, blessings, and affection),

Now is the perfect time to share the blessings of giving and receiving - compassion, acceptance, forgiveness, abundance, and the power of divine grace within ourselves that is connected to all things in the universe.  When circumstances seem bleak and lacking, now is the time to share a larger expansive vision and truth of ourselves as spiritual beings having a physical existence.  That by remembering we are far more than the sum of our parts, that with our intention and creative ability we can release our limiting beliefs that bind us in pain, drama, fear, and anger.

Let us be grateful for the spiritual growth from lessons learned, relief in letting go, and move forward on the road to greater fulfillment.  Let us dance in celebration for living a passionate life of love and purpose.  And enjoy the previous posts on health and healing dance...

Aloha pumehana (with blessings, love and affection),

You can look at every problem you have in your life as an opportunity for some greater benefit. You can stay alert to opportunities by being grounded in the wisdom of uncertainty. When your preparedness meets opportunity, the solution will spontaneously appear...

When the two are mixed together with an alert witnessing of the chaos, a solution emerges that will be of evolutionary benefit to you and to all those that you come into contact with.

This is the perfect recipe for success, and it is based on the Law of Detachment.

APPLYING THE LAW OF DETACHMENT

1) Today, I will commit myself to detachment. I will allow myself and those around me the freedom to be as they are. I will not rigidly impose my idea of how things should be. I will not force solutions on problems, thereby creating new problems. I will participate in everything with detached involvement.

2) Today, I will factor in uncertainty as an essential ingredient of my experience. In my willingness to accept uncertainty, solutions will spontaneously emerge out of the problem, out of the confusion, disorder, and chaos. The more uncertain things seem to be, the more secure I will feel, because uncertainty is my path to freedom. Through the wisdom of uncertainty, I will find my security.

3) I will step into the field of all possibilities and anticipate the excitement that can occur when I remain open to an infinity of choices. When I step into the field of all possibilities, I will experience all of the fun, adventure, magic, and mystery of life.

Deepak Chopra, "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success"

Today, I send you a boost embedded  in the video to have the clarity of vision and alertness for your path to freedom.  To help us all relinquish attachment to the known, to relinquish attachment to money and the need for security.  To let go of the insecure, leftover, outworn, stale, victim of our past selves that only torment us in the present.  To recognize uncertainty as fertile ground for infinite possibilities and freedom.  And surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the universe.  Let us experience a life of fun, exhilaration and celebration that honors the spirit and True Self.

Let me also take the opportunity to ask all of you for energy support concerning the activation of cell phone towers over Karen's holistic health spa in Corona (#25 on the list).  We intend to create an additional function for the towers as beacons of transformational energy that unites and uplifts people in every positive way.  And continue to draw people to the spa who need stress relief and healing support for their highest good.

Please feel free to post a message to me (passion4living) and Salus Per Aquam on Facebook.  Thanks so much for all you do as healers and friends.  The share would not be possible without your support and participation.

Enjoy the previous posts on healing dance and the latest Beacon of Light on the Act of Faith. I hope you were dancing for joy celebrating National Dance Day yesterday and continue the dance of life from here on out.  Remember to be present in every moment and live the passionate life you intend it to be.

Optimism in the face of uncertainty is a difficult art. The terrain of life is varied and mysterious. I cannot always see the path ahead. At times my view is shadowed by doubt, constricted by fear. The open vistas of optimism are closed to me.

In such shortsighted times, I must practice the discipline of positive attitudes. I must consciously choose to expect a benevolent future despite my shaken faith. Grounded in the routine of each day's unfolding business, I must act in alignment with my coming good.

This means I say "yes" to opportunities for new adventures and acquaintances to enter my life.

I say "yes" to unexpected doors opening.

Rather than cling to my known life, I allow that life to alter and expand.

I choose to take positive risk.

I step out in faith despite my misgivings.

Today, I open my mind and heart to the new vistas before me. I embrace change and accept unfolding possibilities. I am a fertile field available for God's planting.

Forgive My Fear

I walk on space,
On air so thin
I fear to fall.

Dear God forgive me
For my fear to love
For being so small
In a world so big
Forgive me for not wanting pain
For seeing it first before joy

I know I shouldn’t look first,
At how easily I bruise
Or harden my shell to outside touch,
Or hide within my self,
Or stare with dead eyes

Forgive my fear
Of reaching out over empty spaces,
For taking all the love you give
And giving nothing in turn

When next I shy, nudge me to try
When next I sigh, nudge me to smile
When next love needs, steady my feet
That I may be here,
To brave my fear.
