In times of superficiality and exteriority, we need to learn to look into ourselves, and truly listening to music is a great way of doing this. Music is a trustable friend that can save you even in your darkest moments.
James Rhodes is one of the most important concert piano players of our times and a great innovator of classical music. He has been the subject of documentaries for BBC and Channel 4, he writes for The Guardian and performs in concerts all around the world. His Sunday Times and international bestselling memoir, Instrumental, published by Canongate, is a brutally honest, moving, and compelling story that was almost banned until the Supreme Court unanimously overthrew an injunction in May 2015.

Say aloud: "With Rumi who loves me unconditionally as my witness, I now offer myself into the hands of the all-loving creative intelligence of this universe.
I release all vows, intentions, or beliefs ever made - consciously or unconsciously, in this or any lifetime - that are based in doubt and fear, holding back from creative fruition of my soul upon the earth.
I dedicate myself to love and accept the gift of grace that brings me into greater fulfillment now. May I be blessed so I can surrender resistance and accept what is coming to me now for what it is - a gift of love. So be it."
Place your hands at your heart and focus on your breath for a moment or two as it flows in and out. When you are ready, place your hands in prayer and bow your head to your hands.
I had a wonderfully synchronous experience searching for works inspired by Rumi to use in my divinity readingsand found a 44-card and guidebook set by Alana Fairchild. The cards feature beautifully designed artwork by Rassouli.
I loved the words on the back of the boxed set and one of the meditations in the guidebook so much that I am sharing them with you along with this meditation music. I will be offering Tarot and Oracle readings here and elsewhere. Keep an eye out for an upcoming announcement! In the meantime, enjoy...
Whether you have studied his poetry for years or are drawn to him only now, Rumi speaks a sacred language that we understand with our hearts rather than our minds. He knows the heart is the gateway to divine union and he doesn't want you to play small this lifetime. He encourages humanity to live and love with absolute surrender, abandon and willingness to accept the mysteries of life.
Rumi has a heart so open that the entire world that he loves so dearly can easily be held within it. His is a path of love. To dance in divine love with him, you need only be willing to enter your own heart.
May the blessings of this spiritual brother lead you into the bliss of your own divine heart-centered nature.
Sufi Muslims practice tolerance, universal love and peace. Rumi, world famous for his poetry and writings of love and longing, was a Sufi.
Sufis are heavily criticized by the orthodox Muslims for their use of music, dance, and mysticism. They are continually prosecuted and killed to this day...

In this segment, you will find a live channel from Steve. The Group speaks about the Earth being in a death cycle, the 50-year mark that is remaining, what that means for humanity in the process of balancing in a new way.

Be with those who help your being.
Don't sit with indifferent people, whose breath
comes cold out of their mouths.
Not these visible forms, your work is deeper.
A chunk of dirt thrown in the air breaks to pieces.
If you don't try to fly,
and so break yourself apart,
you will be broken open by death,
when it's too late for all you could become.
Leaves get yellow. The tree puts out fresh roots
and makes them green.
Why are you so content with a love that turns you yellow?
From one of my all-time favorite poets and sharing it with treasured friends as you. I believe the time is right now to place these energy shares where they will be accessible to a much larger circle of friends. The mission of an energy share has always been to give and receive support and motivation to healers worldwide, and to that end, I'll be posting the share messages on Facebook. So this will be the last share message on the blog and I want to let you know what a pleasure and honor it has been to conduct these weekly shares over the years. Now let's look forward to doing more for so many who are in dire need today, especially our friends, family, and neighbors at home and overseas.
And what better time to celebrate this transition than with my Birthday! Today, I am 45 years young! Don't know why people get so hung up on a number, when it's just another opportunity to celebrate a special day with loved ones. I've hosted my annual Tea and Chocolate Party which I've posted on Facebook with poetry, music and movie videos, http://on.fb.me/dMFyzG. Hopefully, the link works, otherwise, just checkout my profile, facebook.com/passion4living
So, from soul to soul, with all the happy, peaceful, loving energy I am thrilled to share, I also gratefully acknowledge the awesome spark of energy from you, welcoming it with open arms. Enjoy every moment and live the passionate life you intend it to be.

who idly ask, 'How much is that?' Oh, I'm just looking.
They handle a hundred items and put them down,
shadows with no capital.
What is spent is love and two eyes wet with weeping.
But these walk into a shop,
and their whole lives pass suddenly in that moment,
in that shop.
Where did you go? "Nowhere."
What did you have to eat? "Nothing much."
Even if you don't know what you want,
buy something, to be part of the exchanging flow.
Start a huge, foolish project,
like Noah.
It makes absolutely no difference
what people think of you.
Rumi, 'We Are Three', Mathnawi VI, 831-845
Today I send to you a dose of calming and relaxing energy floating quietly on the clouds. Whenever you are feeling rushed, overwhelmed, anxious or fearful of things to come, take a moment to close your eyes, take a deep breath and imagine that the only thing happening right now is the peaceful and calming energy that settles over you. With the rain and snow that fell over the past weeks and days, it's perfect for a catnap. When you can, make time to fit it in your day. Use the boost to rejuvenate and inspire yourself and step forward, once again in confidence and renewed vigor.
When you are ready, send out whatever energy you use to everyone else in our share. Feel the energy boost flow with every breath you take, with every heartbeat, with every embrace we give for each other. Let us celebrate this energy we share amongst ourselves and for those who are to come.
Thank You for all the good that you do and enjoy every moment of this next week. Live the passionate life you intend it to be.
Namaste, (I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells),
Lydia

Today I decided to send you an energy boost with the inspirational words of Mike Dooley in this slideshow. May it help you to see things with a fresh perspective and find the silver lining in all the challenges we face now. Call on the boost whenever and for as much as you need.
This past week I called in the rains to put an end to the fires. And they came, relieving all the firefighters and support services that stepped forward. Now another group of brave souls must face the destruction of their homes and begin again. Every year Californians live with the cycles of destruction and creation to the mountains and hillsides and the firefighting services are quite capable of coping with them. There are new and more fire-retardant materials being used now for homeowners and people have become more savvy about protecting the lands surrounding their homes.
But the difficulty and pain has been felt even more deeply for those who have lost their homes and jobs at the same time. So where's the silver lining? Well, perhaps it's in situations like this where you see friends and family pulling together. Where the goodness in others becomes more apparent than ever. Where a complete stranger steps forward to lend a hand out of goodwill with no expectations of reward or applause. And also where folks act more responsibly in the surrounding parks and forests reminding us all to take care of our lands. "E ku lokahi kakou a o malama 'aina", meaning in Hawaiian, "Let us unite to care for the land".
Thank you for your continued presence on the share. It would not be possible without each and every one of you. Mahalo nui loa me ke aloha pumehana me ka pu'uwai ko'u 'oe a me ia'u, a pau loa. Aloha e. Translation: "With much gratitude and warm affection from my heart for you and I, 'til the end. With Love."
