A CONTRIBUTION TO LIGHT

Over the years humanity has witnessed a gradual but steady change in the environment. The Earth, our Mother and Chief Host is gradually transforming. The scientists have it that the Sun, our star is half way through its ten billion year life span and that it is becoming hotter with age. Thus changes are occuring right from the level of the sun.

From the human angle, some of these changes are quite adverse. Natural changes are mostly evolutionary rather than revolutionary. However, due to gross abuse and a total disregard for the laws of Nature man has himself induced these changes to assume a revolutionary stature. The effects of global warming as a result of the sun’s rising temperature is quite infinitesimal and would take several centuries to have a measurable impact. It can only be imagined how long it has taken the Earth to move from the Ice Age, when much of its surface was covered in ice, to the present day when permanent ice is found only in the polar regions. Many have wondered what would become of man when the sun’s temperature would have become life threatening, and my response has always been that left for the real natural changes, such a time would never come. Man is a part of nature and his constitution changes along with other natural changes. The Neanderthal man is our progenitor but both are physiologically, mentally and emotionally different. In a natural change reality is also gradually altered hence my earlier statement that it is an evolutionary process. Intelligences clothe themselves with the materials of their environment and a new Earth is bound to clothe her children with her new vibratory status.

Thus the real problems of man with global warming and other drastic changes are due to the result of man’s abuse of his environment. Even nature responds to man’s mental creations. As I write this article, it is the second day of spring and I have just heard from my transistor radio that it is the International day of Water. Meanwhile, it has been raining heavily since the early hours of the day. Dr Emoto’s work with water is a pointer to the fact that the elements are not only conscious but respond intelligently to man’s actions (htt://www.hado.net/)

But beyond these environmental changes are other numerous changes in the entire universe majority of which are beyond man’s comprehension. And like the outer universe, man’s inner world is also passing through subtle changes. The truth is that the Aquarian Age is here.

In attribute, Aquarius the Water-Bearer spills out the Life-Force and Spiritual Energy to mankind, and with the rulership of Uranus, Aquarius’ second name is Humanitarianism. To the Aquarian, friendship and companionship are vital elements of existence, and knowledge and wisdom must be sought wherever they could be found. Are these not the signs of our time?

Within the past two decades, time and space have literarilly collapsed and the world has become a global village. Every form of business transaction – banking, stock trading, transportation, buying and selling can now be consumated between one person in his bedroom in a remote African village and his counterpart in a business district of Europe or America, thanks to the internet and other communication super highways.

To say the least, these are mundane manifestations of what is happening in the psychic world, as everything material is only a humble representation of a psychic phenomenon.

The structure called man is undergoing remarkable transformations on all planes. Today terms such as God, health and healing have been redefined. The new Age is effectively balancing age-old contraries and re-uniting seeming opposites unto a harmonious whole. The Satan of yore has become a useful facilitator of peace and progress in today’s world just as the mountain of impossibilities has transformed into the stepping stone of maximum achievement. The Hell Fire of want and penury of the past has become the cooking fire of creativity and invention of our time. In fact, the reality of the ancient mythologies have become relevant to us. Thus we perceive stories like the Labours of Hercules as man’s determination to transform challenges into vehicles of progress.

In our new age, every right thinking man is a healer. What is right thinking?

Right thinking involves thinking and acting holistically. All is one and a holistic approach to life and living creates an alignment with the rhythm of the universe. This is commonly called an Attunement. It enables one one to flow with the tide of the universe, thus avoiding unnecessary obstructions and blockages that we interprete as dis-ease. These teachings are not new.

From time, mankind has had facilitators and teachers of this form of thinking but most of them were misunderstood, some were even crucified and nearly all were ignored. But man has come of age and is gradually becoming aware of the enormous possibilities within his control. To further enhance, his learning process, the present day teachers are better equipped as they now come as friends and companions of their students, thus removing all barriers. They are friends without boundaries and they willingly share without discrimination. Above all, they come in every shade, colour and circumstance. Some are easily recognised right from childhood as is the case with the Indigo Children, http://www.indigochild.com/, while others come incognito, each with a definite mission - to heal the world.

To heal we must be right thinking and to so think we must learn to break the barriers of individualism and embrace oneness – love, unity and focus on that which is common to all. We share a common origin, our Source. Humanity has had a field day searching individually for this Source – material acquisition and accumulation on strict capitalist terms, spiritual exclusiveness – my God is better than yours, and power drunkenness. All these generated wars and chaos.

It is good to know that we are not just fishes swimming in the ocean, but we are the ocean. It is indeed gratifying to know that the divine in you is exactly the one in me and that like the links of a chain, each individual is a vital aspect of humanity’s energy chain. Hence, every effort made to strengthen the weak or enlighten the ignorant is a worthwhile venture. We must all join in the Energy Share. Our little effort can make a difference. No matter how dim the flame may be, it dispels darkness. Let us contribute to Light.

This clarion call is dedicated to a worthy friend, Lydia Smith-Lenardson on her 40th Anniversary. I have known Lydia for only a few days, you can’t believe it, but she has touched me beyond immagination. Lydia’s Light is positively consuming. I have had of passion as a word but Lydia is passion personified. She is a blazing Light and I am very proud to have her as a friend. I have confidence in her special qualities.
