It’s A Process
Many people want formulas and pat answers to make things happen right now. They want prayers they can repeat so that everything turns out exactly right. But most of life doesn’t work that way. Most of the obstacles we encounter in life involve a process to overcome. They take time to work through and it takes time for us to change our attitude and our behavior.
We frequently encounter people who want to change. They’re unhappy with the situations in their lives but they don’t seem to want to do anything to change. They want the miracles to come to them.
Life doesn’t work that way.
If we want to turn the corner on our situation, we have to do something. And that means we have to be responsible. People may show sympathy for our problems and pain, but it’s our lives and our predicaments.
My advice: Do anything reasonable to get past the problem. Go to therapy. Ask friends for help.
There were times when I was so sick that doctors had to give me an injection or pill to make me feel better, but eventually the effects wore off. I had to learn to handle the pain as I got better. Injections and pills take care of the immediate pain, but they’re not what we need for the long haul.
Unless we take action, our sense of hopelessness can become permanent. I’ve met too many people who live in a permanent state of depression, paralysis, heartbreak, difficulty, anger, and hostility.
So start on the healing process within. Ask your Higher Spirit, spirit guides, angels, seek out universal healing energy, and knock on doors of friends, family, and counselors. We exist in an abundant Universe with unlimited resources, but stepping into and accessing these resources must start with our doing something.
Ask, seek, and knock. For when you ask, you will receive. What you seek, you will find. And when you knock, doors will open to you.
