Here are some pics my friend, Mati, sent me of a show she did last year with a belly dancing group on O'ahu. Mati and I attended a halau (hula school) in northern Virginia in 2002-2003 before we both headed west. She moved back to Hawai'i and I came out to California. Enjoy them and Mati's commentary:

During the final bow at the end, one of the dancers did her bow and backed up, one of the other dancers was supposed to put their hand on her back to stop her when she reached her place but didn't and the dancer fell backwards head down into the water well,.. both feet sticking up in the air.. classic gorgeous...!
