Everyday Heroes
By Ted Hibbard
There are no headlines
for everyday heroes
there is no tickertape
no standing ovation
sometimes it's all they can do
to set their feet on the floor
in the morning
they go through their days
the best they know how
no rainbow need arch
through the sky
to inspire them
they have a special courage
shining deep inside
they go through their days
the best they know how

Today I send to you an energy boost for the week to help you get on your feet and put that extra bounce in your step. Help yourself to the boost whenever you need it and for as much as you want. I joyfully acknowledge the boost from you and welcome it with open arms.
With heartfelt gratitude, I thank you for being a part of this energy share.
Aside from the pressures of the financial meltdown, we in southern California are also deep in fire season. Another season of highway closures and delays with potential property damage and injuries. So I try to remember to send rain to combat the dry climate, a boost to all the firefighters who are our everyday heroes, and add them to my gratitude list for the remarkable job they do year in and year out. If you like, please join me in doing the same.
Enjoy the previous posts. My favorites (of course) were the traditional men's and women's Palauan dances performed at the Pacific Arts Festival held on Palau in 2004.
Let us celebrate every moment and live our lives with passion.
Mau riul and a hui hou (until we meet again),
