Live Out Loud
Expression vs. Suppression

CALMNESS of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom. It is the result of long and patient effort in self-control. Its presence is an indication of ripened experience, and of a more than ordinary knowledge of the laws and operations of thought.

A man becomes calm in the measure that he understands himself as a thought-evolved being, for such knowledge necessitates the understanding of others. As the result of thought, and as he develops a right understanding, and sees more and more clearly the internal relations of things by the action of cause and effect, he ceases to fuss and fume and worry and grieve, and remains poised, steadfast, serene.

Whew! Another busy week. But really, though, it's just been a week of busy-ness and very little accomplished. And a prime test of exerting calmness during periods of disruption and unpredictability (traffic, heat and fires!). Which is why you see the previous post on Calmness and my post about the fires in the nearby regions. Checkout also the latest Beacons of Light message from Lightworker which is quite an eye-opener and thought-provoking.

If anybody would like to nudge the weather a little, a few 'Pleases' and 'Thank Yous' directed at the heavens will get you far, I say. Works everytime and for everything when you have an attitude of gratitude and a joyful expectation of fulfillment.

My plans this week for moving ahead with public services and teaching work seemed to just trail along at a snail's pace. Quite annoying for an Aries. So what do you do? As for me, I decided to imagine myself surfing...and staying on the board! Going with the flow of the days, classes, appointments, and weather reports. Call upon the skies to blow cool, breezy wind when I'm outside in the sun. And so it was, is and continues to be.... just beautiful outside.

Whether it's bad weather, bad timing, and red tape, I figured I'd just have a good time anyway and be happy with my lot. Safe and sound, with plenty of chocolate and tea. Immerse myself in hula and piano. Play Sudoku and watch 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' on tv. Enjoy the view and meditate on the mountain and trees outside my home. What more does a girl need?

Thank you all for your continued participation in the share. I joyfully acknowledge the boost of energy from you and welcome it with open arms. I also send you a boost with LOTS of love, light, and hugs.

Help yourself to the boost I send to you and enjoy it fully. Enjoy every moment and live the passionate life you intend it to be.

Namaste, (I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells)
