Hi Lydia
I just wondered if you have a plant growing there called a sensitive leaf. It closes its leaves up when you touch it and has a purple flower. It is prickly if you stand on it.
The correct name is mimosa paduca. It grows wild here and is a pest but I do believe they grow it in green houses in some places round the world. Anyway if you know the plant they use the leaves to restore nerve supply to the body.
Take 16 to 20 leaves, add enough water to make about 2 cups and bring to boil, simmer 20 minutes. Drink 1 cup in morning and one at night. I also use it to rub into my spine and down my legs. The flowers are good also for the brain so I believe.
Anyway I know that this does help me with my back and keeping myself going.I rub the water into my legs and feet and down my back as far as I can reach and if I make more than I need I use it on my hair as well. Just though it may help you if its growing anywhere around you.
